sigh Now I see why most sp's do not accept guests who will not give out a contact number.....dammit, I am not the kind of woman who stands anyone up, I take a lot of pride in myself and what I do and I treat my guests with respect. BUT If you are in my front lobby and my phone is dead and you can't get through to me and I DON"T KNOW YOUR NUMBER to call and let you know the other phone is dead and you go away mad thinking I stood you up ..... don't call me nasty names and send me even nastier anonymous e messages......sigh

K I just had to vent for a minute before saying that I now understand and from now on I will try and remember to get a contact number....if we forget to ask please offer it o.k.? Thanks....:D

I feel your pain, and I SO hate it when I forget to put the phone into the charger......as bad as they were I did like the old intercom systems for that reason alone.

An interesting side note to this: I don't know if ppl knew this or not, but those entry systems that use your phone? It doesn't have to be your HOME phone, it can be your cell. That is great in case you're in the laundry room or ??? and have to let someone up.

I am going to be the first to say this, but chances are if he is blowing up over a simple mistake then he is not the type of customer you want to be dealing with. With all due respect to the gentlemen, there are times where mistakes can happen. Not every lady is the type to stand guys up.

A good customer (while angry about wasting his time) will step away from the situation, calm down, and contact the lady and ask (without calling names) what happened. A guy that flies off the handle so easily is not the type you want to be dealing with.

Chances are he blocked his number for a reason (not the type of person you want to be dealing with anyhow).

I agree. If a person blows up like that chances are he will blow up over other things too. Sadly, one has to be extra careful. Most escorts have a no blocked number rule.

As someone else said, shit happens. Apologize the guy and if he does not accept that, then just let him be. Don't get your panties in a knot.

I know what it is like to be stood up. I worked as a escort in this industry for 5 years until last summer. Clients stood me up, drivers stood me up, agencies stood me up. Was I pissed? Certainly, but I kept my cool and did not fly off the handle. Lets face it, this is not a business that adheres to "professional standards" and it is all about living in the moment.

I was actually stood up today by two girls I was planning on interviewing. We made a date to meet for coffee and they did not show up. I was not overly thrilled about that to say the least. I called both of them and left them a message that was a long the lines of, "Hi this is Cathy, we were supposed to meet for coffee at 11am, please call me at ___-____". If they don't call me back I am not going to get hung up about it.

You are not alone it happens to the best of them . I arranged a booking through a well known agency which involved me meeting one of their young ladies at a designated location in an hour . The phone person did mention she was having trouble with the display on her phone but not to worry just proceed to the location . As it turned out the young ladies mom showed up unexpectedly to take her out to dinner and she wasn't comfortable telling mom " give me an hour to go fuck this stranger and I'll meet you at the restaurant " . When the phone person got the message back from the young lady the display on her phone went blank so she couldn't call up my number and save me the 30 minute drive . After arriving at the location and discovering the date was a no show I phoned in and got the story . Needless to say I was very disappointed but what can you do, shit happens . No sense ranting and raving . After a brief discussion I just told her oh well some other time . Fortunately my plan B panned out and the evening wasn't wasted .
