curious if anyone knows a good place to have a nice quiet and private "picnic" of sorts. It is a male friends b-day and we both like the outdoors. So I thought a nice picnic with wine, a big blanket, and treats than ...............who know's what else hehehe Is there anywhere that 2 people can be left alone ion private? ANYWHERE? anymore?. just curious. I am in markham but drive so no biggie. I am planning this suprise for the end of this month sometime. Thanks in Advance

-shakespeare in the park on the stage during the day is good
bronte creek park has many places too

Funny, I was thinking of starting a similiar post.
Definitely the islands. Years ago there were number of quiet suburban parks like Thompson but noticed more patrol cars doing the rounds nowadays.
Off-topic: Participated in an event with few hundred people
camping in an urban park on the weekend. Noticed a group of
teenage boys giggling outside of an adjacent tent. It seems
a teenage couple were making out in the tent. I was thinking
to myself, what poor planning on my part. It was the perfect setting, sleeping under the stars, an odd setting with traffic/urban lights nearby. It was a chilly night, should have got a beautiful female companion to keep me cozy, to share body warmth, etc.
Would have been a great outdoor experience.
