You're the guy supporting Anthony Bass in the other thread and saying it's just fine that Bass openly despises gays.

So you tell me what progress has been made?
What an absolutely miserable person you are. Where did I support him? I support freedom to express oneself which includes freedom to worship as you see fit. Too bad fascists don't share the Charter protected values. Pathetic.

You back the book banning, anti-gay, anti-minority, white replacement theory, militia loving party and think you're against fascism?

How many people are in jail now backing your orange mussolini's attempted fascist coup on the US?

You can't "worship as you see fit", if it's a breach of provincial and federal hate laws.

1 The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.

Zundel and Keegstra published pro Hitler / anti Jew articles and were charged under the hate speech provisions of the Criminal Code. They raised the Charter and the judges just laughed at them and said "Read section 1."

We both know that you know this stuff already and you're posting shit you already know is false, just to drag on the thread and get attention from your buddies. It's sad that you need this attention. Get help.

Show me where I support it? I said, many times, porn does not belong in schools. It's been established for ages that school libraries should contain age appropriate reading materials. Why are you so hell bent on exposing kids to porn?

So, by your logic the Christian Bible, the Koran and the Torah are fair game for some "reasonable limits". Sad.

If you had a good point, you wouldn't have to distort the facts to make it. What caused Bass to comment wasn't that he suddenly realized that gays exist in the world, or that some gay people are baseball fans, it was the realization that a gay group who openly mock the Catholic Church was going to benefit from an association with his sport.

You must take a hammering in court over distortions like this!

Bass doesn't openly despise gays. Bass never said that. Bass just supports people, who boycott Bud light and Target. Bass is allowed to have his own views. It's a free country!!

If the interpretation of those books involves racism or bigotry, yes.

Blue Jays relief pitcher Anthony Bass issued a public apology on Tuesday after sharing an anti-LGBTQIA+ post on social media the previous day. Bass reposted a video to his Instagram story that promoted the boycott of Target and Bud Light for each company's recent support of the LGBTQIA+ community. The video contained within it anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric, harmful stereotypes of the community and described the LGBTQIA+ Pride campaigns run by each business as "evil" and "demonic."

You're almost there. Keep connecting the dots. Now, WHY did he support the Target and Bud Light campaigns, particularly when he did? What is the timing of his Instagram post in relation to the story involving the Dodgers and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence? Do you think the timing is unrelated? Baseball players are not known to be elite communicators, but is this really a fact situation you can't figure out on your own? If your take is - Bass is a raging homophobe and he just couldn't hold it in anymore, despite holding his beliefs in for years, and despite the Target and Bud Light boycott campaigns having run their course, and somehow ignorant of, or unmindful of baseball's own flirtation with wayward wokeness to the offense of many Catholics - you get zero points!

I'll just set aside whether, in any event, there was anything wrong with the videos he posted. Does it really hurt the baseball business for players to think that a particular beer company is up to something that is bad for society? Or a single retailer?

Interpretation?? Tell me you've never read any of them without actually telling me. No, "counselor " , you will have to "edit" texts that literally billions hold as sacred. Good luck with that. ROTFLMFAO!!!!!

Well, St Augustine certainly did his share of editing, didn't he? Or was it Saint Paul?

This is what it says. And it's pretty homophobic, vile and disgusting. Right?
