The Shure E4's are great (I have 'em). Futureshop is way overpriced. Look on ebay for better prices from reputable sellers.

The Shure e2c they sell (99 bucks last I checked at FS, though I believe that was on sale) are great. However, you have to jam them in your ears and many hate the effect. I really prefer in ear's though until you get into the higher end open headphones (which are not great for portable or flying).

A bit more

Unfortunately, if you want quality you're going to have to pay for it. I bought a set of Zenheisers (sp?) a while ago and while they were fairly expensive you can't beat the quality of sound they give you.
Ebay is a great place to find deals if you know what you're looking for. I've been buying there for a while now. I just bought a new watch there last week, in Canada at jewelry stores this watch is about $590CDN and I bought it on Ebay for $185USD. AND, to answer the obvious question it IS a authentic piece.
Average savings on Ebay CAN be from 50 to 80% over CDN retail.

The CX300 is a high-quality stereo ear-canal headphone with powerful, bass-driven stereo sound for listening 'on the move'. Ear adaptors in three different sizes ensure a perfect fit, high wearing comfort and excellent attenuation of ambient noise. The CX300 is ideal for use with MP3, CD, MD or DVD player and many other portable devices.

At compusmart:
E2C are $129
E3C are $219
E4C are $329

I have the E3C and love them.
