Are Canadians able to use priceline.com?

I thought we weren't but I did a registration using a Canadian postal code and it was accepted.

Priceline.com began allowing Canadian addresses about a year ago. The only thing I notice is that you are still not able to create an account. Other than that its business as usual.

I use it all the time but only for the name your own price option. I find that their regular prices are rarely any better than you can get by going directly to the hotel, airline, etc site.

I just did a hotel request for downtown TOR, picking only 4 star (you cannot pick 5 star with Name Your Own Price) and I got the SHeraton for $65 = fees = $81 total. Called the hotel and $169 was the best they would do.

I too used to just use an American address. They didnt link address to your credit card billing address. Now I use Cdn address and ONLY a hotmail account that I use to buy online.

I also find that to be the case.

Agreed with Previous..Great

Used it in Canada often for great rates on the 4 star hotels...60-80. Always fun, as not sure which hotel but you get the category your bid is on.

Recently, during Xmas got great 3 star hotel right off Broadway and 5th Avenue for $150 a night. Absolutely great spot.

Never take their listed prices but put in and shop your bid.

There is a site too

http://p198.ezboard.com/bpricelineandexpediabidding

Where you can see what others got in bidding to give you an idea on how low to try in different cities.

Anybody look at their stock price lately?

Went from around $20 a share 2 years ago to $120 now :( Been going straight up. Maybe the weak US dollar is helping them. Overseas profits are way up.
