Holiday Inn near St. Laurent it is for July 21, 22 and 23.

There were nicer hotels for the same rate but this one feels like the safest bet to me for the purpose of meeting some great Ottawa gentlemen.

What is most important to me is that it is big enough that guests won't be noticed and that it seems "SP friendly" as in ladies use it with no issues.

Thank you everyone for your help!

This is a good choice as you can park and enter from the back and bypass lobby as I recall

Aaaand...

Ottawa lives up to its reputation for the amount of cancelations, all from TERB members.

This will be my last time here.

Thanks for trying. Not sure why this is the case. Some have their conspiracy theories but who knows?

We will have to make the trek to K-Town if we want to connect. Safe travels.

Sorry this happened, and while it's no excuse, even I noticed a considerable influx of visiting SPs this weekend and I can't help but wonder if the increase in options has some backing out of previous arrangements. Just a thought.

Good job Boys!
Then we all twiddle our thumbs and wonder that:
  1. Very little ladies want to travel to Ottawa, and prefer to go to Montreal and Toronto, or even any lesser city out West. Pretty sure Sudbury gets more then us.
  2. Reputable Agency, local or traveling.
  3. There is an increase in deposit
  4. The local ladies are retiring, or focusing solely on their regular.
So yah, keep it up Boys. The reputation continues.

That truly sucks, And thank you for having faith to take your tour here in Ottawa. But it doesn't surprise me in the least. Us Ottawans have an uncanny knack of blaming others even if we caused the situation ourselves. I've heard it too may times from providers. Thank you for coming to visit and all the preliminaries you outlined. Good luck in Kingston :)

I was in Toronto this past week and had the pleasure of visiting a long time favourite provider (review coming). She is interested in traveling to Ottawa on a regular basis. However, due to the reputation for cancellations, she would need to be nearly fully pre-booked with deposits. Otherwise, she would be setting herself up for a disappointing trip and would not likely return.

Things shouldn't be like this, but we're doing this to ourselves.

And to @KittyCaterina, sorry you had to experience this once again!

I keep seeing people say “we’re responsible “. I’d wager the vast majority of cancellations do not make up a large percentage of the Ottawa johns. It’s a few who are doing it to multiple sps every night. Some crazies that actually get off on it.

I wish there were a fix for it but stupid finds a way.

Two of my cancelations HAD paid small deposits, so I recommend she ask for at least half of her rate in deposit. Twenty to sixty dollars is disappointing when you are still losing at least 200 dollars you had planned to make, especially with hotel prices right now.

One demanded the deposit back on the 21st and I said no, so I am waiting for a post about it LOL.
Kinda defeats the purpose of deposit. My touring policy for refunds is 48 hours before I arrive in the city.

I can see your point. I think the "we" is more of a generality. However from the provider perspective, it does not matter. A cancellation is a cancellation.

My cancelations were from TERB members. My two no shows were from Leolist randoms.

In the end, everything yesterday worked out. It is just not worth the stress though.

She normally has a 25% deposit requirement with a no refund but 48 hr reschedule/ 24 hr SOL policy. She also screens so that helps with the crazies out there. I'll let her know your thoughts. Thanks!

Spoke too soon.

Even a well known member that I never thought would has "no showed" me and ghosted me, no deposit as I trusted them and they assured me they would be here.

Thank you so much to everyone who showed up and those who filled the spots of those who canceled or did not show. I appreciate you all. XO
