They tell me this is progress. Me, I'm not so sure.
Welcome to the Voodoo Economics of Reagan/Dubya .......they fancy it being 'fiscally responsible'!....

El Rushbloe losing it .....again

Republicans favorite Dope Addict El Rushbloe has been ranting more strident than ever about Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama, saying it's all about RACE as he turns on the only sane person Dubya had working for him.

We can only hope he's back on OxyContin BIGTIME and if we get lucky maybe this blowhard fool will do the world a favor and OD!....;)

Powell Endorsement of Obama Has Everything to do with Race, Elitism

All of this is stinging McCain more than he is letting on. In an interview with reporters before the 2000 election, after most the policy questions had been asked, McCain responded to questions about who he could name as a personal hero. He started off by saying Lincoln, and then mentioned he was intrigued by Teddy Roosevelt. Asked for a favorite living hero, he immediately said, "Colin Powell. Served his country. A wonderful man." Like I said, this rebuke from Powell, and if you watched it on Meet the Press a very lengthy rebuke, has gotta hurt big time.

It's over. Barring a meteor hitting the Earth, McCain is going to lose, and possibly lose big. Nearly a third of US voters are voting early this year. This is not so much an election in flux, but more one that is being set in concrete. The only question now is how many GOP Senators and Representatives McCain is going to take down with him.

A stinging rebuke to the Republicans after the nightmare that's been Bush...

but... (there's always a but, isn't there?)...

Having one party in both the Executive and Legislative branches can too easily lead to abuses. We see that all the time in majority governments in Canada, whether it's the Grits or the Tories.

After the post-election honeymoon that Obama will get, he and his party will need their feet held to the fire.

No, not from the right-wing's resident dope addict.

From voters. Real people. Other Democrats.

Yeah, brings back glorious memories of Pres Carter....... that would be the last time these conditions were in force would it not? Now that was a hell of a show, one that all DemocRATS can speak of with pride. Think Obama will go for the sweater in front of fireplace look too?

Gotta say one thing about Jimmy, he's a hell of a better ex-Pres than he was Pres.
