Set up bridge during rush hour then close and allow boats through or set it up beyond where the boats unload?
Foolish idea or not?

Foolish idea. With the amount of traffic that needs to go through, there's no way to regulate and monitor the inflow that might show up to go on a bridge like that. They will just ferry critical construction, meanwhile, the original crowd will just have to google map themselves a new route.Set up bridge during rush hour then close and allow boats through or set it up beyond where the boats unload?

The time need to disassemble and reassemble a section of bridge would likely be too long to be practical. I think a fleet of ferries would be faster to acquire or build.Set up bridge during rush hour then close and allow boats through ? Or set it up beyond where the boats unload?
New technology might be needed for a longer bridge and stronger currents etc but bridge can hold tanks so why not cars?
As many years are needed before a permanent bridge is built this seems like
possible tempory solution
Just an idea but Terbites can solve anything
