Porn Theater Recommendations Downtown?

Are there any porn theaters downtown that anybody would recommend? Just looking for a place to go and "unwind" when I don't feel like heading to an MP.

Yeah, the VCR killed off almost everything. But surely there must be some adult cinemas somewhere in Toronto?

I think the last one was over on Bloor St. W. in Koreatown. Might still show films. Anyone remember Cinema 6 on Younge St. ?

Metro Theater on Bloor Street near Christie Subway. Big screen. Huge outdoor Marquee. Hard to miss. Still open after 30 years that I know of. Maybe more.

About 10 years ago they were next door to an Indian Cinema. Not sure if it's still there. Sometimes when there was a special release of a major Indian blockbuster, you would see Turban-clad patrons lined up around the block. The Metro was highly visible but the Indian cinema was not, so it looked like all the religious men were lining up for a dirty movie.

I remember 25 years ago they had a stage dancer after each movie feature. I was 17 and shocked as could be because I had never seen a live stripper before.

I read here that they are going to tear it all down soon...

Is there more than one porn theatre? I thought the one on Bathurst near Christie was the only one standing.

Metro Theatre

Been there once, ages ago, and would never go back. The cashier/doorman goes into the theatre every ten minutes to kick out anyone jerking off. But back to my story. 15 minutes into the movie, one guy gets off his seat, sits beside me and starts to jerk. So I move and he follows. Another guy tries to touch me. Wtf?? There's straight porn on the screen and I'm getting hit on by old men! I threaten the guy following me around then I left.

The porn theater has gone away. How sad. I still remember the days of going to Yonge street and paying 5 bucks to sit inthe tiny cramped rooms of various porno shops. Usually a single lousy feature is playing on a dusty 14 inch Sony surrounded by assorted old kitchen and lawn chairs. All thats left are the arcade style peep machines with the 7 channel feed. 25 cents per half minute or something like that. The booths seat one. Seems we have to go home to fully enjoy our smut now. What a world.

I've heard that there's a place called Loft18 on Yonge near Gerrard. I haven't been inside, so I can't give you a report. Anyone?
