Just another example how religion is out of touch with reality. I always use condoms (I am not religous, but still a nice guy!!). It's all these third world countries, where aids & over population is flourishing, that won't use them!!! If you live in the US or Canada and don't use a condom you have to be a whacked religious freak or just dumb!!! These nut jobs probably don't have to worry about fucking anyhow!!!

Actually the reality you speak of is the one you subscribe to. Each person on earth has the right to decide what is right and what is wrong and live accordingly, as long as it violates no laws or other people. You seem to think that the morality of a Religion is wrong for everyone and not just you.

Keep in mind no one is calling for the killing of non-believers when it comes to Roman Catholics.

...anymore.

... or that much.

Sorry, but as a former Catholic, I find the religion as it is taught and practiced to be full of contradiction and hypocrisy. You forget the Spanish Inquisition, where the "convert or die" attitude was very much practiced.

Then we have the whole condom thing, the recent re-introduction of the sale of Indulgences, the "love thy fellow man" preaching but less so if that man is of another religion... or not at all if he's gay.

As it considers itself the religion of love and forgiveness, the Church has a lot to answer for.

Your first sentence sums the post up.

There's a word that describes couples who use the natural method -- parents!

Church Ad

I've liked this ad since I first saw it...illustrates my problem with the catholic chuch (which I was raised in). Somehow I don't think it represents what Jesus had in mind. Inquisition and Crusades definitely not WWJD.
