Pop-up previews on thread titles... how to get rid of them

I've pretty much gotten over the pop-up banner previews that occur when one mouses over a thread title in the forums. They persist until one mouses back over that particular title.

Is there any way of disabling these, either through a forum setting or third party script?

Go to your account, then preferences. Change style to TERB mobile style.

Seems to work on the phone, but maybe not on the computer.
