I'm sure this will end up as death caused by drug interaction... but doubt it was intentional.

Physician’s BMW was impounded in hopes of finding medications, evidence

LOS ANGELES - Police are searching for a doctor who they hope will help in the investigation of Michael Jackson's death.

Los Angeles police spokeswoman Karen Rayner says that police towed from Jackson's house a BMW owned by one of the superstar's doctors.

Said Rayner: "We have not been able to interview the doctor yet. His car was impounded because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death."

Well, it doesn't quite say that a doctor was there, or for how long, or for what reason. And its only speculation that drug interactions are the cause of death, at this point. But one has to wonder about the competence of the doctor involved here. If the doctor's car was parked at Jackson's house, it would seem that the doctor was more familiar with Jackson than a 15 minute visit at the office every 6 months. I guess people who are into overmedicating just shop around until they find a doctor who will give them whatever they want.

NO SHIT!! He's probably #1 on their list.

MJ's list of meds over the years probably reads like a Pharmacopeia, but I think he's just one of many in MJ's entourage that were there for the ride. Remember the story of the plastic surgeon who finally said 'no more work on you rface', so he went to someone who finally said, 'sure'. Who's at fault here.

The painkiller Demerol can be summed up in just a few words: Highly addictive with a slew of side effects.

It’s also the same drug that is rumored to have been given to Michael Jackson in the moments before he “collapsed and stopped breathing,”

There are also reports the icon was taking a cocktail of prescription drugs including antidepressants.

If antidepressants are accidentally given in conjunction with Demerol, it can cause a very bad hypertensive reaction, and the patient can have a heart attack and stroke as a result, Anello said.

Dangerous reactions can occur if Demerol is administered while a patient is taking other narcotic pain medications, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxers, or other medications that can make them sleepy or slow respiratory function.

Brian Oxman, Jackson family attorney, confirmed Jackson's use of other medications when he told CNN Thursday that they had gotten in the way of doing rehearsals.

"His injuries, which he had sustained performing, where he had broken a vertebra and he had broken his leg from a fall on the stage, were getting in the way,” Oxman said. “I do not know the extent of the medications that he was taking.”

If he took other medications that are sedating – which pain medications usually are – in conjunction with Demerol, it can definitely cause shallow breathing and decreased oxygen levels, ultimately leading to respiratory arrest or heart attack, Anello said.

It's been good to know ya
Let's face it MJ was good in his earlier years. Whatever happened to him mentally later in life, lord only knows why. Plastic surgery etc... He was doing everything too extensivly. He obviously was not thinking with a full cap. If he became addicted to drugs he probably did shop around until he found a doctor to say yes and probably at a price the doctor could not refuse, hence likely a home delivery service included. It is a shame that he did all this stupid stuff to himself later in life because indeed he did have talent, but people are not wrong to label him as whacko Jacko in his later years either.

As for the doctor if he was giving him access to extensive drug use he should not have been putting someones life at risk. A doctor is fully aware of effects of drugs and thier risks. Instead he should have been trying to get him the proper help. A doctor is supposed to be there to help save lives. As I am also sure the doctor did not force feed him the drugs but who knows at this point and time till further information comes to surface. As they say it generally takes two to play the game.

I love those Demerol pain shots. Had them back when I had a bad traffic accident and again this last winter during my hernia surgery up in Toronto. Was wide awake during the whole surgery and felt very alert-but was having a hard time remembering what I was talking about to the nurses.

Good thing I don't have the cash like M.J. had or I might have found my own doctor to give me the stuff way too often

cnn are reporting that MJ was not feeling well the day before he died. That's why the doctor was called in. It seems the doctor is in trouble as he should have recommended that MJ go to hospital sooner.

there are already conspiracies out and about, Micheal Jackson was not the healthies person on the planet, either mentally or physically. He was in training for his tour and if he pushed it to hard it might have put him down.
The fact that the police can not find the doctor is interesting I am assuming the tried the telephone first.

There will be a firestorm of accusations denials and conspiracies until such time as the coroner puts a label on this one. It may not end there.

The 911 call :

"I need an ambulance as soon as possible, sir," the caller said urgently but politely. "We have a gentlemen here that needs help and he's not breathing yet. He's not breathing and we need to - we're trying to pump him, but he's not, he's not."

The caller reported that Jackson was on a bed and the emergency operator began to instruct him to do CPR but stopped when the caller said that the personal physician was there.

"Oh, OK. We're on our way there. If your guy is doing CPR and you're instructed by a doctor, he's a higher authority than me. And he's on the scene," the 911 operator said.

The operator asked if anyone witnessed what happened.

"No, just the doctor, sir, the doctor was the only one there," the caller said.

"Did he see what happened?" the operator asked.

"Doctor, did you see what happened, sir?" the caller asked someone in the room. Only an urgent mumbling can be heard on the recording.

"We're on our way. It's less than a mile away from Cedars," the operator said, referring to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Paramedics, however, took Jackson to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

From what I'm told that "Doctor" was paid $100K by Jacko per month and when you listen to the 911 call, when that Doc is asked a question, this foreign language comes from his mouth. I think Jacko hired a witch doctor and he killed him. Much like that Isreali on the BBC last night who claimed to have hynotised him.....what a bunch of bullshit.

I heard on the radio that the doctor was Jackson's "personal physician". He was on the scene performing cpr when the ambulance arrived. But he disappeared for several hours afterwards. As a previous poster suggested, probably doing some quick shredding of documents. Sounds really fucked up that one can have a person physician present and die like that. Autopsy/toxicology results will be interesting, but it sounds like it will be weeks before we know what happened.
