Bring back race statistics on pedophiles and mass school shootings across North America. Perhaps current data/evidence of all the pedophiles will support your theory (one race is worse) when it is common the whiter your skin the lighter the sentence and a slap on the wrist.

Drunk drivers skate a few times before lowering the hammer. And even then….a slap on the wrist for killing 1, 2, 3, 4. Maiming oh so many more.
Gang bangers back out on the streets in days, over and over and over. To peddle hard drugs, soft drugs, women…buy and sell firearms, kill each other and anyone in the wrong place, at the wrong time indiscriminately.
child abusers, wife beaters, barely do time at all.
etc and so on.
From your post I'm assuming you haven't lived outside of North America outside of vacations. In many countries the same crimes that get a slap on the wrist here in Canada have much harsher consequences. If laws were more harsher you would have people thinking twice before committing them. You can't deny or refute that there is a correlation between prison sentences and race in the western world. When we look at international laws you will a stark correlation between punishment and crime committed.
My point is when folks want to use the race card for gun violence but get upset when crimes like pedophilia and school shootings point towards once race (there are instances where other races commit these crimes). A minority who sells drugs or gets caught with an illegal gun gets a longer sentence than someone who was a pedo which shows you the system is corrupted.

Disagree with everyone gets a slap on the wrist no matter the crime; no matter the pigment. That's where we don't agree. There is white privilege and classism which functions in the justice system and in courts.
Example there was a drunk driver (Marco Muzzo) a couple years ago in Ontario who killed a whole family including kids and grandparents. His sentence was so light that when he came out of prison the surviving father (deceased kids) committed suicide. Had this man been a visible minority would his sentence be the same? Would he be granted early release after tearing apart a family in such a selfish manner?

Mandatory minimums don't overlook that pigment is a factor in sentencing in the laws/courts. Ignore it all you want and refute but it does exist you either live in a bubble or just being obtuse. It's intertwined with white privilege in our society. Muzzo was a perfect example he was white and came from a family with money. If Muzzo was Indian, Chinese, Black or Hispanic no way his sentence would be the same. I’m a numbers guy. I like and believe in stats, especially when trying to figure out problems/solutions. Be that.
Climate change, financial data, economic data. It helps us know some races are disadvantaged for example. Under represented in some things.
