I agree with you 100%, but i didnt think that was the discussion here. Everyone that is reasonable condones the violence that occured.
I assume you meant condemns the violence. The point you're missing is that the police have a duty to shut down protests that are violent, or are likely to turn violent. Those who refuse to disperse under such circumstances are guilty of a criminal offense.

Yes sorry, i wrote this just as i woke up. I was driving home from tim hortons and realized i should have said "condemns".....sorry about that.
