are you talking about underground clubs or organized home games....google poker forums and you will get some info
Not a fan of pokerstars. Try partypoker, bet888 or fulltilt (newly launched and a sister site to pokerstars).
And Howard Lederer was the main guy behind the scenes at FullTilt. Daniel Negreneau does a whole 30 minute rant on Howard and how he screwed everybody, and threw all the professional poker players under the bus. If you can find it on You tube its an interesting clip.
I used to love playing on FullTilt. Done pretty well, money wise. Then After they got shut down, I went to Poker Stars, its starting to grow on me. They are holding a promotion right now if you link up both accounts they will credit you 20bucks to the FullTilt account.
Negreanu is a huge dolt and is very biased on his take on Lederer. Not defending Lederer obv, he's a huge scumbag and I personally still have tens of thousands stuck on FTP (live in US, can't get my FT acct verified), but take what Negreanu has with a grain of salt.
My SO bought me a ticket for a tourney at the Blue heron casino,$ 220.00. Part of my Christmas present. Hope I do well, my first big tourney. Anyone in or around Oshawa, theres a tourney once a month, where its a 100 dollar buy in and then you put another 20 dollars on high hand. Usually get around 200 players.
To be honest, Im much better playing live rather than online. It is a completely different scene.
believe me, I'm pretty in touch with the poker community. I've watched everything. I hate Lederer. Just saying Negreanu is an idiot and has a grudge against him that goes beyond just this, so don't take everything he says at face value.
I have a buddy who is an avid live player. Underground clubs mostly (don't know where or care) but he did mention that he has tried the electronic poker running at a few casinos in Ontario. He said it is quite fun. You get the feel of live but the speed of online.

Pokerstars is a total scam. Read more about them online you will find hundreds of reviews.
Plus nobody ever saw their independent computer generator audit report.
Like the amount of time people will get AA, 33, 1010, for instance, and then A 3 6 10 6 on the table is not even funny.
No matter how good u r in a real game that bs comes up both in ring games and tournaments.
Thus, stay away from pokerstars.
and the reason for that is that their commission [=rake] depends on that, so they are interested in bs like that and then some people [=bots] play you to the All in.
