This Poilievre really is displaying his true colours when he brings up his pathetic anti-vaccine mandate!!
Can he not comprehend how many lives were saved because of the Covid-19 vaccine mandate?

MPs defeat Pierre Poilievre-backed anti-vaccine mandate bill
Conservative leader says Canadians should decide for themselves what they put in their bodies

Erm, maybe I remember this wrong, but wasn't he front and center with the whole Schucks with Trucks thing?

Not exactly new information here.

Strange women in ponds giving out swords. It's time.

He might be wrong to oppose vaccine mandates. He’s not wrong about JT and the left denigrating people. On this topic or others.

He knew it would be defeated. If there was any reasonable chance it might have passed, I have no doubt he would not have proposed it. But now he gets to pretend he's the champion of those who think this is a critical issue and he's shored up their vote.

Hard to fathom why letting people decide decide for themselves is anti-vaccine or even left or right. HPV, shingles, flu, swine etc we let people decide for themselves. Its their bodies it same as letting women decide what to do with their bodies with birth control or abortion.

Agree...but your point is right wing extremism according to the Left LOL.
My body my choice....only on things we agree with you about. Otherwise it's do as we say or be cancelled.
Society is so fawked.
Everything is political postering, virtue signalling, and peacocking.

You don't understand how arguing against the vaccine is anti-vaccine? Or do you mean these mythical people who claim they are merely against the mandate. Can you find me anytime whose anti-mandate that's gotten a booster in the last 6 months?

If the mandate was that people would be tied down and injected against their will, I would be right there with you. But that's not what the mandate ever was. People could always choose to not be vaccinated and they still can.

Edit: And in case you missed it, that's the big difference between banning abortion and vaccine mandates: under the mandate no one is forced to do anything, but under an abortion ban women are forced to carry to term.

Yes, I know all about the Fake Populism:

Ah yes, my side are saints and full of virtue. Only the right do this or that.

Many can and will argue JT, is the most divisive PM in history, and Liberals in general are too. And they wouldn’t be wrong. I can easily illustrate this by pointing to the West, carbon taxes and rural Canada. Or simply pointing at Pierre’s surging popularity…

So how much do you follow politics?

If a woman gets or doesn't get an abortion, there is 0 chance that I as some rando will get or not get preggers*.
So for other vaccines, none of them were flooding the hospitals like Covid did in places where it ran buck wild, not quite the same thing.
Also Shingles isn't contagious it is just the honey badger of viruses.

Damn right. If I want to whip out my cock in a church and slap other people in the face, it's might right. At least nobody has died from a good cock slapping, hospitals were never overrun by some cock slapping. But hey muh rights!

Not sure what what the issue is ( was).
The only people “forced” to get them, were those that worked in government jobs and had to meet the public. Not sure why that’s an issue. Lots of people have to have vaccines as an employment requirement.

if someone chose not to get one. Why do I or you care? I did get them. This for some silly reason is what the left seems to forget.

Let's define "forced".
If you've been working and earning income in your particular profession for however long, then suddenly this comes along...a new experimental injection that ends up being proven not to stop contraction or transmission, and unless you can prove a record of taking it not once but three times you'll be fired and no longer able to earn money to pay for your life or that of your dependents....that's FORCED..
This was not only government workers, this was across many industries.
People with education, training, and years of experience can't just suddenly "pivot" and earn the same money.

The key here is: It did not stop transmission or contraction. It's been proven. Pfizer themselves have admitted it. Even now the radio commercials promoting it give a verbal disclaimer at the end saying something to this effect. Many professionals were advocating this reality while the topic was hot, but the massive paid propaganda from big pharma was overwhelming and the brainwashed sheep wanted and needed a panacea solution to the 99.5% survivable respiratory virus.
