I think the site is gear to more women, since I dated a few that have told me that they get tons of message from guys each day. The girls that I've dated from err 1 date from pof, basically almost all the women I encounter had like already 2-3 dates in that week from pof. They told me though they meet a lot of weirdos, well weirdos will really successful jobs. For me, I'm just a average joe, kinda chubby so I usually never get the second date but met some really interesting people though.
Also as for the banning it's not really the IP. it's the cache in the browser which stores cookies or something if you really wanted to, if you got banned get a new ip use a different browser and make a new account. Also if you share a cpu with different pof accounts make within a few days they ban you as well. anyway

Had a profile with my wife looking for another female. What a joke! I think we got booted for replying to a girl 20 years younger than us or some shit like that. We've never met anyone on POF or Lava or any of the other ones. We've had good success meeting girls through people we know, and their friends.

Ask for a number to see if they're who they say they are. 9 times out of 10 they won't give it to you, because they're fake. At least with talking on the phone you have a better idea if they're a member of the opposite sex, if that's what you're looking for!
