Agree with the multi-vitamin and vitamin D.Since July I've lost 35 lbs on a diet of low carbs, water, multivitamin and Vitamin D tablets.
That good advice for general eating, permanent diet change. When you want to cut weight though you need to cut the calories. Though on 1000 calories a day you also want to make them count so it is good advice to hit highly nutritious foods when you are eating so little.I wouldn't obsess over calories but instead make sure that you're only eating whole, unprocessed foods. One ingredient: carrots, spinach, apples, things that do not come in a package and have not been altered from their original state. Emphasize the green vegetables and aim for at least 8 servings a day. High nutrient density versus caloric density.
