Out of curiosity, did anyone attend the 'Anniversary' (48th?) night at the 'Mate?

Apparently there was to be a live band (first time ever(!), as the promo breathlessly indicated). Made me curious regarding how this worked out and wondered where they would put a four-piece (I'm told) band in that place. Surely not on the dancer's stage? Did they perhaps move the pool table and set up in that area? Would seem to be not enough room, not to mention impeding access to the bar on the one hand and the entrance to the dressing rooms/washrooms on the other.

I'm guessing they must have cleared the tables/chairs from the slightly elevated seating area and set up the band there. The whole idea struck me as rather odd, but maybe it worked out.

Stopped by the PM Friday afternoon (6/8) at about 1300 and found a fairly quiet atmosphere - not dead, but a bit subdued.

Regulars Ashley, Candy, Bianca and Sarah were there (Sarah arriving a while after me). There was a tallish blonde I don't think I've seen at the 'Mate before. Spoke briefly to CiCi (CeCe?) who was circulating more than most of the others. To be fair, Bianca was also approaching patrons and spoke to me as well. Noticed Delicious go into the CR and emerge after a long while, but she is definitely worth waiting for.

Jasmine appeared to make somewhat regular visits into the CR, but was perhaps not as intrusive as she has seemed to be in the past - not really sure though.

I was there from about 15h00 until 16h30 and noticed Candy, Lana (she's back and Adora and I think I saw Delicious.

Had a few dances from a girl whose name escapes me (Alicia or something like that) an mixed ebony/white girl who is fairly new there. Not the greatest dances.

Had some dances from Lana which were better.

Not an especially unlucky or lucky Friday 13th afternoon at the 'Mate. Arrived around 1300hr and the place seemed really dead. Things picked up a bit as the early afternoon progressed and a few more dancers arrived.

Saw Ashley, Lana, Skylar, Hailey, Riley, CiCi and (new to me) busty blonde Cassandra. A good amount of traffic to the CR. Suppose it was a fairly typical PM afternoon although Fridays have been busier in my experience.

A typical (I guess) Wednesday afternoon (8/15) at the PM (though I didn't notice the buffet - maybe I arrived after it was cleared). Not really busy, but there were several patrons present during the time I was there and fairly steady traffic to the CR.

Noticed Ashley (as ever), Riley, Rachel, CiCi, Lana, Corrina, Mia (looking exceptionally cute and curvy) and Delicious. As well there were a number of other ladies less familiar to me (Skylar? Hailey?).

There seemed to be quite a number of dancers getting into civvies and exiting the club briefly, though this is often the case at the 'Mate.

I was there on Wednesday afternoon. Candy, Delicious, Lana and Adora were the girls I know the names of.

The manager wasn't checking on the CR too much.

Thanks for the report, zbla. It seems that Candy has not been in as regularly as in past months/years - in fact I haven't seen her lately but I'm not in all that much. Delicious told me that if she decides to take a day off it'll probably be Tuesday or maybe Thursday. In general, I think that Tuesdays will likely turn out to be the slowest afternoons at the 'Mate.

Dropped by around 5, former Silver Dollar & Tease guy... Don't like being in traffic... Was surprised to see Lady Class there, she's a personality at times....

But I was awe struck by an African who went Trinity I think... Said she normally dances @ pigs... I'll be going to pigs to see her.


Was busier than I expected.
I didn't recognize many of the girls but there were some incredible lookers.

5pm must have been good for you. I was there at 8pm, lots of gents, maybe 3-4 ladies, almost all of curvier ilk, so regrettably, I left after only about 10 minutes...

Some very hot dancers there recently but the experience hasn't been the best.... One girl claimed 4 songs when it was definitely 3 so I stopped the dances, another suggested extras on the 3rd dance and when I said just dances it all became very tame. Luckily the sweet and gorgeous Montana saved the night. First-rate girl and hope to see her again.

Dropped by the 'Mate Wednesday (12/5) afternoon around 2:15 or so and found quite a quiet atmosphere. A bit surprised as Wednesdays have tended to be the busiest afternoons at this venue. Perhaps I was a bit late for the lunch crowd.

Noticed Ashley, CiCi, Delicious, Bianca, and a younger ebony (didn't catch her name) wearing a summery, knee-length dress on the floor - a bit of an unusual look. Ashley was also wearing a dress, not her usual look. Maybe the ladies were finding it chilly in the club. Also notable was a very curvy, busty, inked dark-haired dancer I'm not sure I've noticed at the 'Mate in the past.

CR activity seemed a bit slow, but did seem to be picking up by 3:00 with about 4 dancers in the booths simultaneously.

Friday (12/14) at the PM was as busy as I've seen it in the afternoon for a very long time. Even though the weather might have discouraged some clubgoers, there was apparently a Customer Appreciation event (a buffet was put out at about 3:00 or so) and this may have drawn an unusually large number of dancers...or maybe Fridays are replacing Wednesdays as the busiest afternoon at 175.

Saw Ashley, Delicious, Adora, Mia, Corrina, blonde Bianca, Sarah (ebony) and another Sarah or Sascha (?), two additional blondes (unknown to me) and at least one other ebony lady. Thought I noticed Lana as well, but not entirely sure.

Dropped by the 'Mate Friday afternoon (1/25) a bit past 1:30 and found things to be somewhat quiet but not altogether moribund. Noticed Ashley, Lana, Martia, Delicious, Biancas both blonde and dark-haired, ebony Kimberley and a few dancers unknown to me - one rather curvy and quite heavily inked and another who was a very striking (light) ebony, very tall, ultra-leggy and really pretty girl.

Third consecutive post from me in this thread - don't want to seem to be monopolizing the thread. Hope others will post re their adventures at the 'Mate or in other SCs in the relevant threads.
