Pau2lo and I just checked this one out today: it was the Roast Beef Wednesday day. The private dance areas in the back haven't changed yet. If there are no champagne rooms and no contact dancing, I think the strip bars will close. There was a time when every small town in Canada seemed to have one and now they are slowly disappearing. Hell, there was even one in Arnprior, Pembroke and Thurso.

its wide OPEN area now, no private lounge anymore. You can sit beside the dance bar and see whats goin on inside the champagne room area. There is still contact dances, but you gota watch if any audience is staring @ you! The old playmate is gonee...even the girls are pretty scared of doing nething what they used to do before ;) Goodluck with the new Playmate.

Apparently this is the case with all Ottawa clubs now from my understanding. Haven't been to any lately so I could be wrong. My guess is a lot of girls will now move over to the Quebec side and/or we'll see a lot of new SP's advertising.

I tried the Mate today to see what has changed. Yes, less privacy.....but not too bad at the 3 chairs facing the wall. The chairs are high backed, and you are facing the wall, and there are partitions between chairs.

Not too bad.

Went to play mate Sunday nite and the usual rip off tall non white dances 2 songs and says I owe for 4 four then grabs for the $$$ ,report to manger nothing done , should have called the LE but wtf waste of time, this will get the place shut down if this continue , I think this is all LE is waiting for but not from me,:: however this will happen with this crap happening:mad:

LE is not going to be able to anything about the two song discrepency, and on the list of things they care about this wouldn't even make the top 1000. If anyone can do anything about it, its the manager of the place. Even if you don't get your money back you should let the manager know she's ripping customers off. It's bad for business, if he gets a few complaints he will get rid of the girl. No manager wants the reputation of having his place be a rip off.

So when she suggests going to see the manager, say "Yep, I was thinking the same thing !" Most people figure the manager would be on the girl's side and get intimidated by the idea, so they cave in and pay the girl. In fact that's what they are counting on when they suggest it.

I'm wondering with the aggresive soliciting I experienced yesterday, are the dances in the CR down so the girls are ripping off the guys that they do get in there? I also noticed a lot of "older" guys and Stacy told me "it's like that most afternoons, they have nothing better to do but they don't spend any money". So maybe some girls are milking it for what it's worth. They're only hurting themselves cause I'll repeat with a girl I like but never with someone whose ripped me off.

That would all presume that the girls think further ahead more than 5 minutes. The girls that rip you off do not.

Also, they can just run the gambit at one club until people know them and then move on to the next club.
