I would argue that Iberia is the best place on earth.

Let’s get girls out of the way. Prices are similar to Toronto. A little bit less than Toronto if you factor in that half-hour and 45 minute incall sessions are common and normally 1/2 and 3/4thtye cost of an hour session. You get a combination of Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilian, Colombian and Venezuelan women. Yes, a little more expensive than South America, but you can communicate in English or do Google Translate with a girl who can handle her smartphone. And not face any possibility of armed robbery and kidnapping for ransom like might (not likely but might) happen south of the U.S. border.

Let’s start with Lisbon. It is what San Francisco wishes it were. Nice buildings on hills with no armies of homeless.

Sintra is a reasonable Uber ride away. It has castles and forests. Disney was modeled after this place. Apple Beach is near Sintra. Walk south from Apple Beach and you find a path with the most scenic rocky beach you will see in the world.

Evora is a decent day trip, also.

And if you want to experience Arabic culture, a flight that includes an overnight in Morocco is interesting.

Madrid has among the best group of art museums in Europe, and its Capital area and its parks are top-notch.

Day trips to Toledo and Segovia are fantastic. Medieval stuff is cool. Plenty of hiking though the old cities, and there is even a torture museum. Spain’s train system is top notch.

Barcelona is a fantasy-land. Gaudi was a genius and his parks and architecture is definitely worth seeing, and so is the Gothic neighborhood. Its beaches are more like U.S. beaches, so I prefer the ones in Lisbon. But it is always nice to have a beach to walk on.

Good day trips exist from Barcelona, too. Monserrat is a hiking paradise and the day trip to Girona and the nearby Dali museum is thought-provoking.

There is no shortage of fascinating things to do in Iberia. It is safe, the food is good, and you can get laid every day with a beautiful girl who does GFE. It is almost entirely BBBJ there, unlike much of Northern Europe. A nice mixture of big cities that have all the big city amenities along with Old Europe and plenty of South American immigrant culture from those who were wise and energetic enough to get away from South America.

I think, honestly, that some of the suggestions in this thread are too Third World. You want to be in the First World and either let the Third World come to you in small doses, or be able to venture there on your own terms.

When you desperately want to buy food upon entering the area for all of the emaciated street dogs and cats.

But not for the human beggars because it will just draw more of them. And at least the dog or cat will wag its tail in appreciation.

Well when I booked girl in Barcelona and Lisbon I did wag my tail in appreciation 😷

The problem with Portugal is this... https://holbornpass.com/country-programme/portugal-golden-visa/

I work with a team based in Portugal since 2013. There are getting quite pissed because rent and housing went up a lot since. People from the UK or the US are selling their boring flats at crazy prices to invest, reside, and get residency in Portugal. I must admit it if wasn't for my kids I would be one of them!

Check your vaccinations and entry requirements Canadaman, some countries won't let you in.
Yellow fever vaccination certificate required for travellers aged 1 year or over arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission and for travellers having transited for more than 12 hours through an airport of a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.

The EU is planning to introduce a €7 (£6) EU visa waiver for some non-EU citizens by summer 2025.

Under new rules, visitors from a list of non-EU countries, including the UK, will need to apply for a waiver, similar to a US Esta, before travelling to 30 countries in Europe.

The EU has not yet announced a firm start date for the scheme.
