It really does make sense, lets face it. If someone is willing to show their phone number they are much less likely to be someone who is going to rob or attack an Sp. Certainly not a guarantee however it is a step that all Sps should use.

You don't know that for sure though. There aren't any proven statistics. If a guy who plans on robbing her and shows his face to her, then he won't mind showing his cell phone number. As a matter of fact, the perpetrator can just get a 7/11 phone just like a regular guy and still commit the crime.

You say that its still a precaution however, there's alot of guys who might want to see an SP but don't want their wife/girlfriend/family knowing. For myself, I would never make a call from home.

Statistics? What are you going to do get Statscan to do a study?

Then we simply don;t deal with the person if they have issues with showing their numbers. As well, we dont send ladies on outcalls until we have a landline that we can do a reverse lookup on to be sure they are where they are supposed to be.

We have to make things as secure as possible. We are going to be introducing some new security measures to make things even more safe for the ladies.

And for the clients, we will be implimenting something for them to keep things discreet as well as identifying they are a regular and we can discuss things in more detail with them.

Hahaha, good point Jimjac.

I think you afraid all SP at Pink Kitty. That's a good deal, but be carefull they will have your phone number and in revenge they can post it. Unless you have a unindentify phone to scam them...

Precisely. The last thing you want is for folks to show up at your doors unexpectedly.

I had a thread earlier in the other forum discussing the pros and cons of bringing ladies home. The viewpoints from both sides of the fence were interesting to say the least but after all is said and done, the risks far outweight whatever convenience and cost-saving that might entail.

interesting. I usually call sp's with my call id blocked and have never really had a problem. For me I can understand the reasons the sp wants caller #diaplayed but my privacy is too precious. So just as the sp has the right to refuse to answer blocked#s so do I have the right to refuse to give my # out to people I don't know. As I said tho it's almost never been an issue. Usually when I am caling agencies - it is from a hotel - and I imagine hotel outcalls are seen as safer than visits to private residences.

Payphone ?

PK Jessica may confirm, but I think that the same rule apply for payphone as for blocked #. Meaning you call from a payphone you wont get service?

??? How are we having a bad attitude?? What is wrong with our pics?? And again how are we responsible for the actions of the ladies that we work with? Other than letting them know feedback and in extreme situations terminate our aggreement?

How is not taking private calls a new rule? It is pretty much standard for most sps

Pretty much standard for Indies to not respond the blocked calls or calls from pay phones on the West Coast as well. Agencies will entertain them as they usually have someone who screens calls full time. Indies just can't afford to waste time screening blocked or payphone calls.

well we have been much more strict with this rule lately. way too many problems with no-shows with incalls. Again, if someone is calling from a hotel then it is a different situation. we confirm the room number by calling back and there isnt a problem. Honestly at this point, we are so busy that if an incall customer refuses to unblock the number then we wont give them the time of day. As far as keeping a number on file, the only thing we do is if there is a problem with a customer that is either agressive or rude to the ladies or is a no show is we blacklist them and we wont deal with them again.

Rick,

You are so right. Further, many of the ladies also turn off their ringers so many calls go unanswered during a session.

Are you kidding

A reverse lookup on my landline, are you freaking kidding. I applaud you for taking reasonable steps to protect your girls, but this is not one of them. Like others, I have a hobby phone. That should be sufficient.

Perhaps I can also provide you with my sin number, health card and fingerprints. The industry is what it is, a certain amount of risk comes with the territory.

BTW, since I'm going to give you my landline, can you give me yours?

This does happen. A particular SP that I know was on an outcall recently to a dive motel downtown. The dude paid upfront. After services were rendered, she was man handled and basically robbed of the donation.

Needless to say its not like she could go to the LE or anything. However, payback is sweet when her security came around to collect her. She did get her donation back.

I wouldn't give my previous phone number to anyone I had not met, since my wife told me about the 'reverse-look-up' possibilites. There were a couple of regulars who I did let see it. Hey, there are just as many crazy SP's as clients.
Now I have a 7-11 phone, and I'lll be more liberal. No ID when setting it up, no list of numbers called coming in the mail,

O.

If I was having a lady coming to my house, I most certainly would give them my landline. It is only common sense.

You have to see it from the sp perspective, a cellphone user can be anywhere. And in some cases they end up being crank calls with a driver having to be paid to drive a lady to the home, only to realize it is an 80 year old lady answering the door. Or a worse scenario, it is a set up situation where a preditor is in an another appt across the hall and grabs her takes her inside and attacks her. (these things have happened, not with us thank God, but it has happened to ppl we know)

So in response to your post, I feel this is quite a REASONABLE step for an outcall. For incall situations, a hobby phone is fine, we need a reference point for no shows or if a situation was to arise.
