And don't put any ginger in my food. Once in the Philippines, I ordered a dish and ginger was in it. Totally unannounced.

Generally its a no for me. However if I am going to eat it, it needs to be paired with bacon. The saltiness offsets the sweetness.

The problem isn't people having pineapple on their pizza.

Its that many pineapple pizza people are entitled with no social awareness. Every group outing I have ever been at (work or social) some dumb pineapple pizza fucker, will order one or two pineapple pizzas, and that is the only crap that is left when normal people eat all the normal pizza.
Geez, chill out buddy.

Ok try this once and tell me it's not the best.
First extra cheese on the bottom
Toppings, green olives, bacon, pineapple and banana peppers.
It will surprise you

That would be the way to eat pineapple on pizza. That is sweet, savory, salty and spicy all in one.

I like a busy pizza. Lots of stuff. If in small amounts competing with pepperoni, bacon, anchovies, olives, mushrooms, peppers...OK. but ham and pineapple - no. I'll eat it, but about 50 other toppings I'd rather have. Back in the old country 30 years ago some more upscale pizza places began to pop up with some horrid combos like potatoes and fried eggs emerged. I got spoiled by american ny style pizza.

A potato white pizza (no sauce) is popular in Rome. But potato and egg together would be awful. I once saw French fries on pizza. That was gross.

It's a slippery slope, once you put pineapple on your pizza it's only a matter of time before you desecrate pizza with tofu and kale and other such nonsense. Therefore, it must be banned as a crime against pizza. Punishable by being forced to listen to Nickelback on repeat for an entire decade
I like pineapple on pizza and I've never felt any desire to put kale or tofu on pizza.

Mind you, one time in high school I did have escargot on a pizza.
