Was at Pigales recently, and it seemed like there was quite a bit of new talent. Could have just been a good night, but it seemed like management had done a bit of house cleaning to have better quality dancers working the rounds.

It's a tough call to spend $$$ here though when things are also good these days in Montreal, especially at Cleo's where they're getting more and more younger dancers willing to make the rounds for $10 (half what you'd pay here).

In bad economy times like this the options are good and plenty for adult fun.

I went to Pigales again. Not sure which dancer jost is talking about, but I did get some dances with a nice blond with big natural breasts named Cali (because she's from California). Cali wasn't at Pigales though, she was at Taboo across the street. I walked over there around 2:20 AM after I couldn't find any suitable dancer available at Pigales. It worked out good because Taboo didn't charge me any admission for some reason. It seems to be a good strategy for Fridays and Saturdays: stay at Pigales to watch the show, and then later go over to Taboo. Problem with Pigales at the busiest times seems to be competiton with too many other guys to get dancers, and many of the dancers over at Taboo aren't too bad, so possibly a better place to spend the 20, 40, 60 or 80 bucks, but the show at Taboo kind of sucks. With the above strategy you get the best of both worlds.

I went to Pigales last weekend and it was again busy, but not as crazy busy as some previous occassions. The winter time seems to be a nice mix of the classics with short-term dancers from Quebec and without the annoying bachelor parties. In spite of this, I don't plan on going there over the holidays as I suspect many dancers will take the time off and not be there.

Note that I did again try my strategy of hopping over to Taboo, but it backfired because Tangerine Dream was being featured, and for some reason it reduced the selection of available dancers. I ended up taking a tall thin dancer in a pink bathing suit back a Pigales. Said she was from Trois-Rivieres and had been drinking (like me). Good dances, but it was more the conversation that made things memorable.

this is the same dancer I talked about a couple posts above..I subsequently got a chance to try her out for dances..her name is Roxanne and she also told me she was from Trois-Rivieres..she is hot and you're right she is friendly and gives good dances..

There used to be a black girl named Asia who worked there. She gave good dances IMO. Has anybody seen her there lately?

Not sure if Asia is there, but on any given night there are usually at least a couple of black dancers (IMO Pigales is not the place to go if you're looking for high mileage with a black dancer).

I was at Pigales recently, and was pleased with the talent. I got talked into taking a private dance, and although the dancer was very nice it definitely wasn't worth the $40 for 2 songs. At least it wasn't as bad as Valerie a few months back (man her face is really going downhill)... ah, memories of Pigales private booth milkings (no pun intended) keep me careful about how I fork over the dough.

Later after I was fully horned up (and boozed up) I walked across the street to Taboo and had a much more wild time there with an enthusiastic dancer for $60 (3 songs). Funny how the booze next day makes me forget the names of the dancers, but not the service I got.

By the way, I was wondering what was going on with the Hot Shots sign.

I was at Pigales recently, and was pleased with the talent. Made the mistake of falling for the free table dance thing... let's just stay the dance didn't end up being free.

Right after the free table dance thing I hopped across the street to Taboo and, to paraphrase Cpt. Picard, "boldly went where no SC patron has gone before". No names in this post in order to protect the guilty.

Great Saturday night!

Hadn't been there for quite awhile so went down Saturday night. It is a large club, complete with two stages, main and auxiliary. By late in the evening there are up to (I would estimate) at least 30 dancers. The level of beauty, class and intelligence of the girls is just about the best. The champagne rooms are in a downstairs area, very private and clean, with a modern decor. And they are distributed throughout several ante rooms - easy to find privacy here. (YMMV as usual) There are entertainment events throughout the evening, the usual pre-matrimonial guys night out stuff. One guy was up on stage with three of the girls and they were whipping his bare ass (to each his own I guess). Also at one point in the evening all girls are brought out for a cattle call on stage and later on the girls head out en masse to offer free table dances to customers of their own choosing. I took a moment to speak to the owner, Frank Bentevoglio as I knew him back in the days when he owned the Playmate. Was amazed that after so many years he remembered me. Great guy!

My personal experiences. I was approached by about 6 girls, 4 of whom sat with me. For the most part they were very charming, two of them obviously very innocent in a lot of things like acronyms, one being brand new and very young. For one of them the alarm bells went off, a user. Handled her with class and eased out. I noticed she was not being booked and hung around the bar. Another, a very charming blond girl who had to drop out of university. Took two girls for three dances each. (I am bad with names - probably because I know they are just pseudonyms). The second one I took was the very young Morrocan girl from Montreal who was just starting out. Obviously a student. Very young and very sweet. Wanted me to call her and gave me a Montreal number. Now if I can just remember that name...................

I was at Barbarella's recently and got thinking about the differences between Pigales and Barbarella's. While they are both arguably the two best clubs in the Ottawa/Gatineau area, my take is that they are distinctly different. One big difference I found is that the dancers at Barbarella's are harder to read. Usually at Pigales I can get a pretty good idea from a dancer's attitude and demeanor whether she'll be good in the private dance booth, not necessarily so at Barbarella's. Another thing I've sort of felt about Barbarella's is that there seems to be fewer dancers that try to pull a rip-off scheme on the client (e.g. overcount on dances). A final difference I've found between the two clubs is that the patrons at Pigales seem to be more relaxed and open to conversation. There seems to be less space to feel comfortable and move around at Barbarella's.

I agree Pigs and Barbs are the two best clubs in the area..the girls are hotter overall at Pigs but the girls are friendlier at Barbs, more willing to sit and chat and don't ask for a dance a few seconds after meeting you like at Pigs..

The last couple of times I've been at Pigale's the DJ played a break song that has French lyrics - a kind of upbeat rock tempo, and a bunch of the guys in the club were singing along on the chorus. Any idea what the song is and where i can find the lyrics? My understanding of French lyrics sucks but my reading is much better...

If you have an iPhone, or know someone who does, you can run an application on it called Shazam which listens to music and identifies it for you. Works pretty good on the English songs I have tried. Dunno about French, but its worth a shot.

Was there on Friday and met an out of town dancer named Princess. Big naturals, hour glass shaped figure. She usually works at Cannonball. Those of you who are familiar with this pace can imagine that the dances from her will be good.

I am back in Ottawa for a few days and went to Pigale yesterday for the first time in quite a while. I was surprised at the number of black dancers on the floor - perhaps things are looking up as I think they are somewhat more adept at finding the way to a man's heart. Took oldie Kiesha down for 2 and she proved to be her old greedy self. Also went down with "Sparkles" from montreal, medium tall slim, showed potential for a first visit.

I did not see sweet Talia. Has she moved on?? She was one of the better dancers IMHO.

i was at pigale last night and was extremely impressed with the talent. way better than any club in toronto. funny thing is 2 of the 3 dancers i went with were from toronto!!! now i know why there aren't pretty dancers in toronto any more.

went with jamie, victoria, and elianna.... all were very nice and i had fun dances with. jamie is my new favorite dancer anywhere and i will be going to pigale's regularly just for her.
