I would say 4 terms for MP, and 12 years max as PM. Senators should have 8 years and much smaller pension.
What about for Putin?

"Putin has been in power in Russia, either as president or prime minister, for a total of over 24 years. He first became Prime Minister in 1999, then served as President from 2000 to 2008. He then returned as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2012, and has been President again since 2012. "

I just want to see if you can find a way to suck and blow at the same time. LMAO

Russia is a different country, different culture. They can decide, but since he has over 70% support I guess they have chosen.

Carney CAVES to Trump, admits tariffs are here to stay

Safe as houses? How Canada's ailing housing market could spell trouble for the whole economy

Signs of Weakness:
  • GDP Contraction:
Canada's real GDP experienced a contraction in both April and May, with a slight increase in June.

  • Trade Disruptions:
U.S. trade disruptions, including the threat of tariffs, have negatively impacted Canadian exports, particularly in manufacturing and wholesale.

  • Business Investment:
Business investment has been weak, potentially due to the uncertainty surrounding trade relations and the economy in general.

  • Consumer and Business Confidence:
There are signs that uncertainty is affecting both consumer and business confidence, impacting spending and investment intentions.

  • Housing Market:
While there are signs of a pickup in residential investment, the housing market is still facing affordability challenges.

  • Recession Fears:
Some economists and analysts have raised concerns about the possibility of a recession, with some suggesting the economy is already in one, according to the Financial Post.

you should be more concerned about the trade football that Carney has fumbled after selling himself as the man to get a deal with Trump
investment dollars continue to depart Canada

no incumbent does well in a recession

who will be rabbit the liberals pull out of the hat when voters determine we have exchanged a corrupt camera ready fool for a slick talking salesman who can not deliver
7 and a half months and trade is still in complete turmoil. I guess Carney is a late bloomer....

Given the circumstances only a COMPLETE RETARD would blame that on the new PM. 🙄

you are partially correct
Only a COMPLETE RETARD would repeat what has failed for the past 10 years
he is only responsible for some of Canadas economic woes
the rest can be laid at the feet of the COMPLETE RETARD Justin Trudeau
Considering the pandemic etc not bad.

Pee is pretty much a 1-trick pony. Hate rants are his only skill set.
At least he hates the right things, unlike Carney. But I think you are ignoring Poilievre's proposals to actually address our significant problems.

Btw, you'd think someone like Carney who passes himself off as a hockey player would know that "elbows up" is the tactic of a hockey coward (not to mention it's a penalty, whereas the bodycheck that that coward is trying to avoid is not). What a dumb slogan! It just shows that all of the people he's got saying the phrase have no idea what it means. The way Carney is handling the trade talks, his slogan should be "asses up"!

So far, Carney is a no-trick pony.

I think Pee is confused between the 2 words "winning" and "whining". He does a lot of the second and none of the first.
