This is getting scary. I realize there is no crime, but still.
I was thinking of going soon, but now I might change my mind. Could someone who knows someone at PA provide any additional info?

Sounds like someone didn't make their April payment...and I don't mean the mortgage.
I guess the cops in Durham don't have enough to keep them busy, what with teenagers running each over in city parks, home invasions, and people getting shot in the head in some townhouse development next to the Pickering Town Center...lets hassle some guy looking for a HJ because he wife doesn't put out anymore....

Has anyone had any encounters with LE at PA recently? I am going to be visiting there later on and was wondering if I should have my lawyer on speed dial...

What I have been told from girls in the biz is...in the GTA only Pickering and Brampton licensing allow you to be naked in the room. However, naked without doing anything, so if you get caught doing anything other than lying there I guess you are up the creek! I don't know how true this is but was told this from a girl that works in PA and also from one that used to work at Plats!!!dapperdon said:

PA has been in business for a while and as far as I know the menu hasn't offered any new 'meals' for some time now...

there are so many loop holes and grey areas in the laws. I talked to girl in the biz the other day and she said the by law guys won't barge in the door.
another one told me the entire MP busines is illegal no matter how you look at it.
The MPA has to kep one leg touching floor at all times etc...
i personally am getting very nervous going to MP's.
If there are drugs being used by other people in the facility or underage persons that is trouble. Stick to regulated solid run places.
if a MP place does get raided - say nothing or choose your words very carefully and know your rights.

This thread is disconcerting. PA is a solid regulated place as far I can tell. It would be nice to get the straight skivy on what's really going on as I was always told the ownership exiles those that don't follow the rules. I've even bumped into a bylaw officer once on the way in. As an advertiser in the banner here it would be nice to hear from them and not the 'don't worry everything is allright" response. Can anyone else shed some light on this thread?
I think some council member woke up to the fact that there are Massage Parlours in Durham Region and decided to put pressure on the Durham Cops to make life ugly for them. This is harassament but the whole MP business is sort of a grey area to start with.
I bet within a month either you see a MP gone or the cops go find something else. They cant sustain this sort of harassment without getting any busts....

I have nothing against PA. I have been a few times in the last year and always enjoyed myself. Abount 6 weeks ago I was coming in the front parking area and I was about to park when I saw a cruiser was coming down the side parking area and I decided to just keep going and looped out the other front exit. I don't need more shit from them.
That's weird. She wasn't quiet OR tentative with me when I saw her a couple of weeks ago.

I live in Northumberland County, next door to Durham, and have been to PA many, many times, and never seen any cops. But here I have to state a contrary opinion to most guys on this board: I'm more scared of the riff-raff that robs MPs than I am of the cops (and PA has been robbed before). My favourite MP is Allure, right around the corner from the Peel Police station, and that's how I like it. Remember, it's a mainly cash business, guys!
