I go to Colombia all the time, I live in Texas, but enjoy the women down there, most passionate,submissive women there are, and always hot. anytime you go to a foreign country, you need a certain amount of street smarts, but Colombia is safer than Costa Rica these days. you can't walk around San Jose at night, but I did in Colombia with no issues.
although I have many amigas in CR, I really doubt that I could live there full time. too many north americans have retired there & vacation there, which is why there is more street crime lately. If I were to retire somewhere, it might just be Colombia.
I almost went to Colombia in 1987 or so. I was planning on going with a friend who had been there before, we booked our flights and were a few days away from departure when we received a call from the travel agent. There had been a bomb threat and the flight was cancelled.
We booked an all inclusive to Mexico instead, still had an adventure and a half (Cops, machine guns, shemales etc!!) and I never did make it to Colombia yet.

What does this mean? Once they're in the military they can't leave or when they do they're too old to care about women? They all die in the service? They never go back to their towns once they serve?

I spent two weeks in Bogota last November and I was fine. Limited Spanish, spent nights around Parque 93 and Candelaria and I was fine. I had fun and never felt unsafe,

look dumbass...you go anywhere in Latin America, you're not in Kansas anymore. but Colombia was cleaned up over a period of years at a cost of millions of $ & it's as safe as any tourist destination in the 3rd world now, and safer than some compared to when it was the kidnap capital of the world & when the FARC was still in business.
