Postimage.org is pretty good ! You get to pic the resolution of the photo etc

idk what website host/builder you use but if you use something like squarespace, you can create a hidden page on your website and host your images there

Sorry! I meant for Terb. Tinypic was my go to for hosting my images to imbed into my ads.

I made one quick attempt and it didn't work. (I have a running thread that need pics.) One member was kind enough to give me precise instructions but I haven't had the time to try again.

Same here ! Tinypic was so easy to use...a lot of these other sites are a bit confusing to use. Have you found anything that works for you yet ?

Yes,

So I've been using the site Zaara suggested. (Postimage.org)

I upload it with 15-inch monitor quality and copy/paste the hyperlink for forum.

The link works fine on its own without any additional html coding needed.

Guys, is anybody using this imgur.com for pictures here? I still cannot figure it out. I followed the above instructions here, but it doesn’t work. It shows just like a code, not the actual pictures.

Please help who knows how to do that or can recommend something similar to tinypic. That was the best to use.

Are you using imgur in a browser or the app on your phone? They’ve gone thru numerous changes lately especially in getting rid of the mobile browser version.

The basic instructions for imgur are to upload your image, click to “get share links”, select the one that has tags wrapped around the code or the link for BBcode, insert it in your post where you want it.

Once you’ve uploaded your image, you can also select and edit it and change the dimensions etc.
It’s best to create an account so you have access to all your uploads.

For all of those with websites, why do you not simply host your own images on your site?

Its best to use imgur, so they host everything for you (for free). You dont need to signup, but it is useful if you want to delete those images somewhere down the line.

For imgur, you can just drag your photo onto the homepage and it will upload automagically.
-Hover over your photo and there will be 3 dots at the top right. Select 'Get Share Links'
-Click the Copy Link button on the BBCode option.
-Paste that code in your message here.

I use Imgur for still photos but don't know how to post "private" videos. Is it even possible to use Imgur to post private videos?
