I sent a couple of texts and didn't get a reply after about 40 minutes. Then I noticed that the messages never went through.

I ended out using my landline (I keep for situations just like this) and got through to my party. She told me that there's a problem with most of the networks. I went online and found that Rogers, Telus, Fido and possibly Bell all have nationwide outages. Evidently they are working on it.

It's affecting Rogers internet and tv also.

For me, it's only affecting my phone, thankfully I still have a landline.

Rogers wireless voice and data are down throughout Canada right now. Have been since about 2:30am. No update as to the cause or when it will be fixed.

Issues with other carriers is because people are trying to reach Rogers clients. Their networks are not actually effected.

My internet and TV seem fine. Not sure about Netflix and other streams.

Rogers cellular down all day and still down. Thank fuck I have my internet w another company and it's fine.

Got out the junky old "state of the art in 2001" landline cordless, which is on the same line as my modem and home old school fax machine. I had to clean out 20 junk calls from my answering service. (I guess my message box eventually got too full to take others).

Had difficulty connecting to my Zoom meeting via my wifi - I am guessing because of overuse of emails and other internet services today.

I have a burner phone which I buy minutes for every month and Rogers is the carrier. Been out all day........Grrr.......

Thankfully I like you kept my land line so all is not lost. It does point out how reliant we are on these damn things though.

And of course you know the conspiracy theory types are going to go wild with this.

The SkyNet made its move against Rogers. My work phone only received calls from landlines and non Rogers carriers. I could not dial out at all.

Still no text, a firmware update seems to be the root cause for the network Outage

Heads are going to be rolling at robbers.
