Phone lady at PK

I called PK and the phone lady answers after the phone was ringing for several times. I hear a baby cry in the background and ask about who was on. I hear something like Berry and Wayne. I ask her to repeat and I hear again the same Berry and Wayne. I tell her that I can't hear with all the noise and ask her to repeat again. She got annoyed (after about 30 seconds of taking with me ) and told me that she doesn't want to waste her time repeating. Fair enough; off I go to another provider. Their loss, not mine.
The phone lady unfortunately has no sense of good business. When you call a good agency, they generally talk to you about the girls, give you some hints about the services and assure you that you will have a good time with their recommendation. With the phone lady from PK, when you phone you have the impression that you are really disturbing her and she gives only the minimum of info. If you ask a question you get always the minimum info that is not useful at all for you to take a decision. Is it only me with this lady or is it with everybody?
I am a regular with PK, but if this will continue I am really seriously thinking about cutting on my business with them.

I will speak with her about this.. I know she was probably tired when you called this morning. she was working pretty late last night.. She does hold down the fort for the vast majority of time and she might need a bit of a vacation.. 6 days a week for years. I stopped using PK quite some time ago only because of the rudeness of the phone girl. I spend a lot of money on this hobby and there are a couple at PK I want to see...Rain, Betty and Katie but alas, I don't like how I was treated the last 4 times I called...sorry but, it is what it is...haven't seen a PK girl since Emily J was there.

I won't jump all over Lisa because a couple of guys didn't like her tone. She has a job to do, and she does it well. She has to be Anal about her screening, and she is very good at it.

Long time member, first post - I feel that strongly on this topic. It's interesting, because I was considering starting a thread on this very topic earlier today following a typically curt and abbreviated conversation (conversation???) with her - imagine my surprise when I found that I was beaten to the punch.

I wince each time I call PK and the phone is answered by Lisa. I resorted to email for a time simply to avoid talking to her, but the emails were seldom returned, and therefore ineffective as a way of establishing an appointment. I suppose I WILL have to get over it if I'm to enjoy the company of "the kitties". I may even be calling her tomorrow, but I am not looking forward to it. An improvement in email communication would be appreciated if an improvement in phone etiquette is beyond the realm of possibility.

I hear ya Jason...unfortunately it is a pretty high-horse type of response. You are right, it wouldn't be Lisa I was banging but, she is still the front door to a business. If one calls a restaurant or hotel to make reservations and the person on the phone is very unpleasant, do you reserve anyway? She may very well work her ass off and it may be difficult to juggle all the schedules but, without the phone ringing off the hook, the pay cheques don't come in.
Sometimes she may have to take calls from assholes and pricks, sometimes cell service is not so clear and either end may not hear well...as the voice of the business she still needs to treat that next caller with respect.
$600-$1000/month was my spending between July and December...PK girls did get $700 of it until Lisa decided rudeness/unpleasantness was her norm with me.

Talk to any of the providers and agencies I have dealt with...there are numerous...bys, ap, osh, candyland...many indies...I am one of the most pleasant out there...

Altercation? Not once. It's the tone of the answer and the feeling like I am a bother. The last time I called and asked who was on, I also asked what "open-minded" meant. Her response?? "You will have to ask her, I can't know these things..." (the tone was bitchy, to say the least) I said "no thanks for today" and never called again. I hate it too because, like I said, there are a couple I would love to meet one day.

I am not saying there isn't room for improvement. I really believe there always is, but I will also say this.. there are always two sides to the story. This board is the gripe board. People don't come here to compliment the good things that are done, they are here to complain.

It's funny because I was just discussing this thread with a client in my chat, and he said he has read this on Terb before but has never had the issue.

People that like us, like us alot.. people that don't, won't.. I have come to accept that. I can't win em all, and I won't even bother.. We focus on our clients, and they do get good service for the most part.

WE are far from perfect, but yet we continue to attract awesome ladies and we continue to be the most popular agency in Ottawa. That isn't going to change anytime soon.

I, for one, have provided good reviews on this board and am not a complainer. I do hope Lisa works on her demeanor. I will say Jason, I think your comment to "get over it" is a poor choice of words. A client gives you feedback that you don't like and that is your response? Seriously? Is PK successful enough that belittling a client's concern is your reaction? I am glad you are going to direct her to this thread and I hope she shows more respect in the future but, your initial response has only served to fuel my hesitancy to try PK again. Lisa, when you read the thread, none of this is a personal attack on you...just be nice. We are not all pricks. Some of us are nervous enough when calling an agency and a friendly voice on the phone begins the journey to an overall pleasurable experience. It was a tough choice to begin hobbying and not all of us do it because we are dirty old men...some of us have other reasons.

I think you're in denial here because I see lots of positive reviews on this site, many about your girls who make me reconsider my rule about hobbying close to home every time I read a review. I have to agree with what's being said here. I'm a very good potential client, I see a SP at least once a week and PK doesn't get my business mainly because of the booking process. It's difficult to get the line, then when it does answer you get totally turned-off by a person that clearly isn't enjoying her job. She might be great at other aspects of her job but answering the phone is most definitely not one of them!

I too have seen a number of PK girls in the last year and always dread talking to Lisa. I can understand it being hectic with the phone ringing at the time, but answering like I'm bothering her and often hearing a child crying in the background isn't very professional at all. I knew I couldn't be the only one being treated unpleasantly, but I hadn't seen any posts complaining about it until now. I have called other agencies and they are at least polite when responding.

I know this was discussed in another thread but I really wish PKE would reply to text messages for making appointments, like some other agencies. I'm not usually in a private location where I can book an escort by voice. To me, PKE has been successful despite poor customer service on the frontend.

You are very lucky Jason. I started the thread yesterday and here you already have 18 feedbacks. Businesses would kill to have FREE valuable feedback. You didn't even pay for the feedback while most businesses have to struggle with surveys to get their customers' feedback. I am not sure about the phone ringing off the hook but a girl who recently left PK told me the exact opposite and that is the reason why she left. But in any case, if you want to keep the phone ringing off the hook you need to provide a minimum service to your potential clients and this is not the case unfortunately. Lisa is the gatekeeper and if she improves your business will grow with no doubt. You can put up incentives and pay her a very very small salary and the rest would be commissions based on the number of clients booking and showing up with the girls. Then your Lisa will be a totally service-oriented CS phone girl. But i f you want to stay defensive and do nothing, hey it's your business!

I have to chime in and agree here. I tried to book Katie for last night, due to environment I was in I was unable to call. I tried to send a PM but PK's inbox was full and then sent a text which went unanswered. Now this does not necessarily reflect on your phone girl Lisa but definitely on the ease of booking. Now I will try again but was disappointed that it couldn't have been last night.
