Why?
Why is our society so bent on saying nice things about someone who died? I'm sorry but that is just bullshit. If someone is an asshole in life, he/ she will be remembered as an asshole in death, but why does everyone ignore that and wax poetic on people just because they died? Its hypocritical to the "n'th" degree.
Earlier this week Rob Ford died. The entire free world (with the possible exception of a few close friends and family members, and only then, because they were/ are in denial), knew this guy was a liar, and cheat, amongst a great many other nasty things, and people go on about how he was a 'hard worker" and a "fighter"?
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot people????
Call a spade a spade and get over it already. Death is unpleasant, I agree, but save your empathy for stuff that matters.
