20 years ago glutathione was the big rage..But the time what was available wasn't bioavailable at all. I just went to a naturopath and got the IV...Have to admit I didn't notice much
How many IV sessions did you get??

IGF-1 correlates to HGH.

It's bioavailability not biodiversity....Two different things.

People just get the injectable and do it themselves...Its a subcutaneous injection.
I was referring to the biodiversity amongst human beings. As in one person can have completely different results from another due to genetic make up.

That first one is the one I had in my hand but opted against. I think for stuff like this the inflatables would produce better results. My concern with oral consumption is the possibility of stomach acid diminishing the effects as is the case with most probiotics. Half of it is burned up before you can absorb it unless you get the kind that is properly encapsulated so it can make it's way thru the digestive track intact.

Nothing to be honest..The clinic improved their bank balance though.

On another note...If you have the coin you can get you IGF-1 levels checked through a blood test in Ontario. If you're in the acceptable zone then why consider taking it. Most people want to be in the top of the zone. I have two close friends who are currently taking it. Both were deficient beforehand.

Your approach is prudent and is well informed.

Guys getting all enthused over online influencers and ordering online supplements from the likes of hucksters like Alex Jones are the same ones who believe his and other lunatic rantings. The usual suspects who are also disputing your clearly knowledgable information.

FIRST thing for any significant supplementation consideration is to get blood tests.

NAD+, glutathione etc work if you need them. MUCH more important, more common but less Joe Rogan are Vit D, iron and B12 deficiencies. Which IV infusions and IM injections provide quick and effective resolution. All of which are more important and less bioavailable as we age.

This is a legit medical infusion boutique-like clinic run by a very knowledge Nurse Practitioner. A real Medical Professional, just below an MD and above an RN. Not a quack Naturopath . NP's can requisition OHIP paid lab tests and prescribe prescription drugs.

The do NAD+, glutathione as well as iron, Vit D IM andB12 IM. Full menu other website.

I was at my gym last night and I was told that EVERYBODY is doing peptides now.

The top peptides for muscle growth and strength are CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, MK-677 and IGF-1 LR3

Why would you pay a wellness clinic to do all that for you when you can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost??

I'd say about 6...Was along time ago though.

Also did a fair bit IV ozone therapy as well.

Then there was the DSMO and Hydrogen peroxide drips as well, lol.

The clinic was an interesting place let me tell you.

So did you find benefit from any of those therapies?

Well the infusion I got was for Iron and it is only available by prescription and administered by an RN.

I have always given myself Vit B12 and D3 shots intramuscularly.

I haven't tried any of the NAD+ , glutathione or other things like it. The research on it doesn't seem to prove any substantive benefit from the ones I've looked into.

However, Lions Mane mushrooms were proven in one Japanese study to slightly, but measurably, improve the cognition of elderly people after pretty high doses after about 10 weeks or so, but the effects stopped within a week of stopping. And it was a LARGE amount. Like $100/wk.

What I've read on NAD is the oral supplementation is better for ongoing improvement as the infusion is quickly metabolized.

My NAD+ arrived today by courier, so I'm going to try it this week and I'll write a review on how well it worked.

I'm starting at 25 mg every other day

So no issues at the border?
If the shipper marks it as research chemicals customs have to let it through.

Back in the 1990's I used to have an account with Sigma-Aldrich in Mississauga, and I used to be able to buy crazy amount of research chemicals. But they finally finally put a stop to that and you can no longer do it unless you're an established business
