But, but, but... whaddabout Hilary and Trudope?

Oooops, wrong whine!

Awww it's just a flu or cold. Noting to be worried about! Trust me, I;ve done my research. Facebook et al

And, well nobody is gonna take away my freedum and make me wear a mask. Even if the mouth breathing Covidiot mouth breathers are the most likely to acquire and spread the disease to others.

Now these fucktards are gonna cost society more money with cardiovascular disease. Good news is that pulmonary embolisms don't cost OHIP much. Just the family to bury or cremate the selfish asshole.

Just more reality.

Maybe they would have got vaxxed and not have this anxiety if not for the misinformation spread by the anti-vaxxers. The unvaxxed clearly are the ones more likely to have more serious long term after effects.

Interesting that they didn't mention (or I missed it) which variant these people they followed had. From what I understand, it was Delta not Omicron that's causing these issues.

I've mentioned this before. have a friend who's mid 50s, very fit, works out 3 times a week, rides his bicycle everywhere, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink and has no health issues. He got Delta before vaccines were available, but didn't get very sick. Then 6 months later he developed blood clots in both lungs. His doctor couldn't believe it and had no idea what caused it. Saying it didn't make any sense. He almost died and remains on blood thinners to this day.

Stop being so ‘Them and Us’ with Covid with some snidey attack on the unvaxxed. You are part of the problem and the divide. You have zero compassion for anyone outside your political ideologies.

My point is why is long Covid propaganda helpful if anyone vaxxed or I unvaxxed, who had Covid and can’t do anything about it now, is being fed shit on what could happen. Why is that helpful?

It’s like a daily running stats report of cancer survivors that they are most prone to suffer from it again. It’s just not helpful at all when there’s fuck all they can do about it.

So now reported facts on the long-term effects of COVID are propaganda? It's a report by scientists whose job is to report their findings. In case you haven't noticed, we're in the midst of a pandemic. It's only natural that these studies will make the news. As for cancer, it's been around forever. Anyone who's had it, will have been well informed as to the chance of it reoccurring.

oh jeez, more irrelevant drivel.

My question is why is it helpful to know about something you can’t do anything about. There are no preventative measures for the millions who have had Covid and only inducemore anxiety.

And if you haven’t noticed, we’re in an endemic. Lol.

You could say that about almost anything that's reported in the news.

I have noticed. Isn't it great that things are opening back up and getting back to normal?

Look in the mirror.

It was the righties that made a public health issue, covid, into a political issue. All the red states were opposed or very resistant to all measures, masks, mandates, vaccines. As a result they had the highest rates of infections and as such are the ones that are going to have more anxiety about long term effects. Was it just a coincidence that the southern states, who vote mostly repug had the highest rates? Or was it that their political affiliations had a profound effect on their decision making?

So you have no leg to stand on when it comes to being all righteous and community minded. You created it, deal with it.

And even in this post, you continue to do the exact same thing. Why do you call the results of a scientific study propaganda. The scientists are giving us data on public health and you are making it political. It is your right wing ideology and leaders that say not to believe science. YOU MADE IT POLITICAL.

As to your last silly point, instead of wanting to know what might happen down the road/what your prognosis is, like any normal person would, you'd rather bury your head in the sand. You are promoting the classic adage of "Ignorance is bliss". If I don't know what might happen, then it won't happen.
