She is very hit and miss, she overbooks, she cancels on people often and she is probably on something to keep her high while she is doing this type of work. You can tell she is in it just for the money and probably doesnt even realize what city she is in half the time.

Not sure how many babies you guys have given birth to, but I'm pretty sure that would change the way I act! If you have seen Penny for any length of time you know that she is one of the few who actually is not in it "just" for the money - and suggesting she is "probably on something" is enough to make me ask "what are YOU smoking?"! (I've heard hormones & mother's instinct are very powerful psychotropic influences...)

I think it is precisely this GFE attitude that gets her in trouble because she is not normally a clock-watcher or OCD-organized all (or maybe much) of the time, and to some this makes her appear unprofessional. If you want someone professional & who will get you in/off/out on the hour, perhaps she is not for you.

Due to the mostly unpredictable needs of her baby, she has to work condensed bankers' hours (lazy banker, at that!) so she tries to squish all the appointments as tight as possible, and I guarantee we are not the #1 priority in case of emergency. In fact, she cancelled my very first appointment because of motherly duties & I'm OK with that.

For what it's worth, I also mentioned the scheduling issue to her & she said she will try to stick to a 15-minute window between. A problem with that from her side is that guys are aware of this and will want to stay the "extra" time - so don't get mad when she has to kick you out after the hour, because that is what you asked her to do!

I don't normally have an issue with other appointments infringing on mine - but maybe that's because I usually book for a few hours...

Just out of curiosity, how did she cancel appt with you folks? I don't quite get it. I guess it never happened to me in the past. Did you guys actually leave your phone number with her???? (That's brave, I guess). Or just no one answers when you showed up??? Then you found out by calling her?????

No answer when I arrived; then I called and found out that she had to leave.

Thanks Spike for mentioning it to her. I am going to see her next week and I will keep you posted on whether she decided to do things differenty in terms of scheduling her apointments.

Clarifications on Penny

I am a long time client of Penny (long before I joined this board) and would like to clarify things that are going around. I rarely go on this board and don't feel comfortable posting, but I will do it now to clarify some matters.
First, when I met Penny for the first time I too thought she was on drugs or something, and asked her if she was. Her answer was very convincing; she said: "you know I am a vegetarian and the reason for it is that I want to stay healthy, and would never do drugs that could ruin my health and my life". I must admit that it was a very convincing argument and I believed her. Recently, most of you know that she had a baby (he is 5 months old now) and she is still breast-feeding. Penny is no idiot and would know that if she takes drugs, the baby would also take those drugs through the milk; this is another BIG argument proving that she is not taking any drugs. The reason why people think she is on something is that sometimes she is in the clouds thinking about something, but that does not mean she is on drugs: she has a lot on her mind because of the baby and her responsibilities as a mother (she has a daughter too). When you get to know her you will have difficulty not calling her to see her (ok I admit I am biased because I have known her for a long time!).
That being said, Penny is for me the number one MA in Ottawa and this is not going to change soon.
Oh by the way, she told me that she is going to let 15 minutes between clients.
I hope this has clarified the situation about Penny.

But like most guys have stated, nobody wants to bump into another customer (s) when going to her place and nobody wants to show up for an appointement and be sitting in the building lobby waiting and waiting and still thinking u have an appointment. Thats just bad practice. I am sorry but she cant have that many emergencies in a week or a month.
Lets just say she has her own followers who would do anything to go see her cause they havent seen better and are just into weirdo MAs like her.

I'm pretty sure the pics are her, but they are not new. I recall seeing them quite some time ago during one of Penni's previous indie incarnations. The bio info on her newest website sounds like her and the age/stats are about right. Also, the one recent reco of Penni on cerb is consistent with my own memories of time spent with her (although no mention of her special HJ technique). I don't doubt it's her.

Porto, I'm pretty sure this is the same Penny. I had some intel from trusted sources and I checked out the pics and sure looks like her. If I wasn't spending so much time away these days I would have seen her by now. Let us know if you see her.
