1: You do know that most of Brown's support would go to Charest.
2: You do know that a Poulet win would actually mean another 4 years of Justin TwoPlanes. Right? You do live in the same reality as all the other sane people?
Poulet might be popular among a certain wing of the party but not with the broad center that the PCs would need to go much beyond 30%, and he is bound to say something to alienate the broad center, even if he doesn't TwoPlanes will easily make something that will stick.
It would be nice to see Charest win, for once TwoPlanes wouldn't be able to run against Harper like he usually does.

They need to release the detailed reasons behind the disqualification this late in the game. The process demands it.

You realize that Dutch, JC and their buds have "disproven" everything that you just wrote about the Tories?
Dutch explained that if a Far-Far-Far Right candidate wins the leadership, Canada will suddenly experience it's own "Deutschland erwache!" epiphany. 90% of the "real" Canadians will vote for the new leader and the "not-real" Canadians and the 10% traitors will be firmly and finally dealt with.
Nothing builds confidence that the conservatives are the one to manage the country like infighting, massive electoral fraud and cheating their own rules.
Not sure when the Covid fever hit you, or what post of mine you were reading at the time, but what I've actually said, consistently, is that there would be no point in the Conservatives winning enough seats to appoint the Prime Minister if only to implement Liberal policies. If someone with the same policy outlook as Trudeau wins the next election, all Canadians lose, regardless of party affiliation.
Poilievre speaks in support of conservative views. Patrick Brown does not. And Brown certainly does not walk the walk. Charest is an actual Liberal (what kind of world are we in when a wolf has the gall to apply for the job of shepherd!)
Canada can improve if and when enough voters, regardless of their usual political inclinations, begin to understand that Conservative policy is what is best for EVERYONE at this point in time.
If not, then our decline will continue, and smart people will find their own ways to stop the ride and get off.
