Ramesses II is one of the more popular candidates for the Pharaoh of the Exodus. Of course most scholars see the story of the Exodus as best seen as theology, a story illustrating how God acted to save and strengthen his chosen people, and not as history. But since C-M has to see the world as black or white. . . .
