I loved that show (Love Boat) as a kid. We watched it religiously.

Murray Slaughter(Gavin McLeod) and Ted Baxter(Ted Knight) on the Mary Tyler Moore show went together like PB&J. RIP to both of them, they are missed.

I liked his performance as Moriarity in Kelly's Heroes alongside Donald Sutherland.

Gavin McLeod had a couple appearances in early Hawaii 5-0's...

and McHale's Navy...

and Hogan's Heroes...

 

[The Oracle]

Just hearing of this now........He was really believable in every role I saw him him.

Was re watching The Sand Pebbles a few months ago and surprised to see he had a small role in that film.

As mentioned though the Maury/Ted foil will etch him in perpetuity though.
