I doubt it, as their modus operandi is for the front desk to phone your room and tell you that you have a woman in your room. Really??? I did not know this, lol. They also repeatedly knock on your door once the phone call goes nowhere. I actually had to unplug the phone to finish my session. When we left, security was waiting at the elevator and blocked our path to the exit. They actually threatened to prevent the lady from leaving. After reading this, I would avoid Panama myself and continue going to Cuba (unless Phil Nasty was my wing man lol).
"Toda La Noche" - meh, I get tired after dining, going to a club, drink, meet a chica, then go back to my casa and fuck. Now I want to sleep. She can go home, lol. But if it costs $400 for a lovely chica, then I guess TLN makes sense. She can cuddle with you and then you can have morning sex. In Cuba, prostitution is illegal, so the ladies do not want to leave to be seen in broad daylight wearing their skimpy club clothes.
@ Muffdiver, what if you tipped that security guy 10 or 20 bucks. He might have left?
They run a business, albeit a shady one and they are free to do as they please. My beef is none of this chica fee nonsense is documented on the booking site, the hotel/casino's website or upon check-in. Had it been documented, I would have made an informed decision and either checked in or not. In this case, I would have booked elsewhere as a $42.80 USD per night chica fee is robbery.
I've been to Havana, Cuba and I liked Panama more, just not this thieving hotel. Of course a wingman always helps in any city/country.
When I go back to Panama, it will mostly likely be a rented apartment and I will explain in writing I have friends and make sure there aren't any additional charges for that. Same if I try a different hotel. I do not throw parties, nor make a mess or damage the place I stay in. I just like to have some bedroom fun and am adult enough to take my own precautions, such as locking up all valuables and not doing TDL with anyone I do not know well. I also do not leave unattended drinks and always pour my own. In 12+ years of doing this, I have never been robbed. Obviously part of this is luck, but a larger part is preparation.
