would she do any worse than George 'the moron' Bush??? At least she could flirt with her beauty queen smile and poor George could not. LMAO!!!
I really believe that is why she is getting as much a ttention as she is.The bar was lowered so far for that side of the ticket AND achieved success that anyone is a viable option.George.W.Bush showed the American public can be deceived quite well.

She could, anything is possible.

I used to believe in the adage that if your candidate wins, they are never as good as you thought they would be, and if the other candidate wins, they are never as bad as you thought they would be.

That worked for me, up until the presidency of GW Bush, bad beyond my worst nightmares. I now see that this country will elect nearly anyone, given the support of the right wing propaganda machine.

I have really low expectations for Palin. If she ever wins, and does even worse than my expectations, we are in a lot of trouble.

I am more concerned with the now than the might be.

Seems a little early for the propaganda machine.

Facts never sleep
The right believe that if you keep repeating something, however outlandish or absurd and even if demonstrably false, people will eventually believe it. It has worked wonderfully well for them for many years.

That would not be the BIG LIE concept would it

Pioneered by a couple of people in the late thirties early forties...

I get a kick out of James Carville speaking for the Dems, "Oh we are really scared of Palin, Oh she is a real force..." which is pure mischief making. The Dems would love Palin in the GOP race because she scares the s### out of Independants who really control who wins.

Carville should be careful what he wishes for. Just because Palin is an underqualified right wing extremist does not mean she cannot be elected in the US.

A number of moderates I know, although they don't particularly like her political stance, really like the fact that she is a breath of fresh air, and calls things as she sees them. A lot of her appeal is that she is not part of the "inside the beltway power clique" -neither is most of the U.S. electorate.

In my lifetime I do not recall another candidate who brought out more fear in the liberals and the democrats as Palin.

Look even now she is in no office and they continue to try and discredit her.

Why should they bother? The hard core right is more than capable.

it is too early to speculate who will run.

The real question is will Obama be a viable candidate in 2012?

The BIG LIE was used most effectively by Joseph Stalin in the late USSR.
Guess the GOP RRR seeing how effectively it worked in the USSR, decided to use it also.
Heck Mullah Limbaugh and FAUX live by it and use it daily.....

I don't know about that breath of fresh air thing. What I mostly hear from her is little substance and talking points.
