I am just talking about the follow up posts where people are ranting about race. In your original story yes they were Pakistani. My point is that we shouldn't fear pakistani's or any other race for crimes we believed they will commit again. So my comments are to people suggesting that England is a corpse or that a Pakistani majority will lead to further problems in England.

Also, so what if I disagree with Sir Trevor Phillips?!!!!?? You are appealing to authority. The assumption that this guy has an important title and is not white makes his statement more credible?!!!? But my point IS NOT to disagree with him about this specific case. My point is to disagree that this specific case means that there should be an anti pakistani sex ring division of the police.

It just seems silly to say that girls should look out for pakistani pimps. To me the message should be girls should look out for pimps.

I would hope that child services doesn't do what he suggested. But again it sounds like fear mongering. Unless there is proof that child services is giving these guys a pass.

You are ignoring cultural differences. Some cultures simply do not give women the same value as they do to a man. Nor is age or consent relevent in sexual relations.

I was not generalizing. I was just pointing out that cultural differences do exist, and it causes problems. What may have been ok in their homeland is obviously causing issues in the UK.

I hope you are not implying that they are not more conservative/restrictive when it comes to women's independance. That would be a blatant misrepresentation.
