Never been to a sc in Ottawa. I recall reading that to go into the champagne rooms, it costs about $200. If this is true, does that include the dances and if so, how many or for how long?

Also are the clubs like Barbe's, NuDen and Playmate open during the day?

There is no entry fee of $200 to go to the champagne rooms. Each dance costs $20 each and for approx. 3 minutes or so. You can stay for one or stay for 10 if you like and have the money. Barbs, NuDen, Playmate, BareFax, etc. open at noon. On Sunday, they open around 6PM.

Be sure to read all of the fine print at Pigales before you go into the CR....in terms of costs and house fees.

Fine print is always difficult to comprehend when your thinking with the other head!

Yow! No chance it's that expensive here, but mind you, I've not been to every club around here. There were some talk about some smaller clubs in the little hamlets nearby that offer a type of "super champagne room" environment.

Bear in mind that, although there's no flat fee at most of the clubs, Barb's included, it doesn't take long to spend $200 as that's ten dances at 3 minutes each, or about 30-35 minutes in the CR.

I would suggest this as a new arrival, but once you get to have a favorite or two, you can pay them upfront and sometimes get a few extra dances if they like your company and its not too busy in the main part of the club.

I note on the Fax and Pigale web sites that there is a night-time Talia listed at the Fax and that The Pigale daytime Talia is no longer listed.

Is this the same Talia?? or just the same name?
