This will sound harsh, and it's not meant to be, so don't take it that way, but if anything recorded is going to be used on Only Fans (to make $$) then why charge for that? More over, if you happen to have a client who's built like a porn star, wouldn't it be in the providers best interest to not charge (or even discount the session)? The better looking the couple is, the more views it's going to get which = more $$$ in the long run.

It's not a judgment, it just seems to me that the more videos one has to put on Only Fans, the better, so why charge a premium (albeit a small one tbf) for something that benefits the provider?

There's no demonstrable relationship between the attractiveness of the "couple" and how that might affect the popularity of a video. That's uninformed speculation on your part. Feel free to pop into the Lounge section and create a poll asking whether hetero TERB users gauge the attractiveness of the men in the porn they watch, and let's see how those results come out. I can actually specifically remember many porn orgs over the year who *deliberately* used gross-looking/not-conventionally-attractive male talent.

Regarding your hypothetical, how exactly would you suggest a provider who allows recording go about advertising and determining who is "built like a porn star?" Do you think that a provider would experience smooth and successful results by putting that in their advertisements and having to somehow assess clients as they meet? Do you think that, by and large, clients are realistic about their looks and/or prowess? Or would clients outside of your "built like a porn star" category think that they fulfilled those qualifications? Do you think that the provider would have a comfortable, stress-free time explaining to those over-confident clients that no, they are not "built like a porn star," and actually have to pay the surcharge?

Finally, in most of these situations the client gets their own copy of the content (as opposed to, say, strictly accessing it through the provider's OnlyFans). That means the provider is always and forevermore going to be subject to risks such as the client uploading/sharing the content without permission, or monetizing it themselves without permission. Expecting compensation for undertaking those risks is entirely sensible.

By 'built like a porn star' I wasn't referring to one's face, or even body ;)

The rest is simple - one doesn't need to advertise any of this, other than recording is available. Up to the provider what they charge, or don't charge - just like any other interaction of this kind. Particularly if the client isn't all that interested in recording in the first place (never mind paying), but the provider knows a session with this person will generate views. Pretty much how any other website works. You like what you see, you're more likely to pay for it.

re: attractiveness of the participants, It's not just men who watch porn. Not to mention bi men and women. The wider the audience, the more $$ you make. Simple business :)

Couldn't have said it better, thank you.

Yes, in my case the client gets his own copy and he chooses what to film and how.

The suggestion that we should even be discounting sessions where filmed content will be going on Onlyfans is ridiculous to me.

I do not charge per video on my OF, all content is accessed through your subscription meaning I am not making any extra profit from a specific video I film with a client.
It is just another video added to my page for my current subscribers to access, not a pay for access video where I am making $10 or more a pop.

Anyways, I shouldn't have to explain myself. I think my video recording rates are more than fair.

It's only 20 bucks...I hear where you're coming from but it's 20 bucks...
That's one of the lowest rates I've seen for that service. ie. it seems like a fantastic deal already. It's insane that anybody would suggest 20-40 bucks is too high a fee. I was accustomed to paying 100-150ish for recording, and some providers charge even more than that.

I don't think that's unusual at all. I suspect most people paying to record their sessions want to keep it for their personal use. They don't want the video to appear on the internet.

The situation about a guy actually wanting to appear on onlyfans (and paying for that privledge) seems like an exception case to me.

I've had no trouble filming girls in exchange for me taking photos for their personal use, such as posting to their Twitter feeds, or LL ads. Though taking selfies is great, you are pretty limited in the number of poses you can take, and it's better if there is someone else can take the pix for you. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement, they get some photos for their social media, and I get to see them put on a fashion show.
