She probably didn’t do anything and it was the guy who pulled the trigger…Let’s hope he’s in for a long time…fucking loser
Then she shouldn’t have ran. Just because she is a woman doesn’t mean she is innocent.

but her lawyers will play on the fact that most believe the man is the aggressor and the woman is an equal victim and will be let off.

This makes me weep for so many reasons. I weep for the officer's family, his co-workers and peers. I weep for the community, not thinking they're safe. I weep for indigenous people as some will have yet another excuse to hate on them. I weep for the people who will cry increased gun control, all gun control does is drive the market deeper to organized crime, making gun dealers richer.

I would also love to see mandatory death sentence to anyone who kills a peace officer.

RIP Constable Grzegorz Pierzchala.
I agree with 99.9% of your thoughts & comments. Well thought out & written.
A truly sad event & day in the lives of many, that will live on in their minds. Forgotten by some, are the dispatchers, other 1st responders to the scene, hospital staff who try to save the life of a college or friend. Especially in a small town environment where most people know each other.
Its been a very tough year with several police officers being killed. Years ago, the majority that died while on duty, were not from gun shots or stabbing. Not that way the past couple of years 😦

25 years is the maximum he can get in prison now under Canadian law (assuming he's not tagged with dangerous offender status).
And he probably wont serve 25, more like 22 or 23 years. Maybe even less??
Not even that. Probably they'll get relocated to a "sweat lodge" or whatever the hell those exclusive locations for natives are called.

Your use of the term gun dealers is quite offensive. A person who sells guns legally is a gun dealer. A person who sells guns illegally is a criminal who sells guns.

Also and maybe it’s too early, none of the articles I’ve seen have indicated whether or not the gun that was used was legally or illegally obtained. Chances are as in most cases if the gun that was used was legally obtained ALL the media would be pouncing on an saying see another person kill by a firearm we need more gun control.

Here’s a revelation - is everyone sitting down, criminals don’t go into a gun store and buy a gun and pay tax on it. They buy guns that are smuggled from the US of @s$ or smuggled via the reserves which spans the Canada and US borders. So trudumb’s gun laws are meant to get him votes, they are not about stop criminals from getting guns.

Really? Offensive? Are you a legal gun dealer? Perhaps Gun Trafficker suits your Karen-ism better. You sure took a tragedy and "woke it".

You must be a defence lawyer.

Apparently this lowly scum was out on bail for assaulting a cop and possessing a handgun 6 months ago. OUT ON BAIL - what a fucken ridiculous system. What exactly do you have to do to not be granted bail in this country.? Still awaiting trial I would imagine. I am so disappointed that this piece of human garbage was not shot dead instead of arrested.

And here’s something you may or may not know… the Gun Manufactures and Dealers are the ones supplying that black market.

I agree with you on this. However, I would like to see strong statements from Indigenous leaders condenming the killing WITHOUT qualification.
Do you think that 'white' leaders need to condemn every killing by a white person (and I'm sure you can find plenty of statements from indigenous leaders doing exactly this)?

Pathetic that this is just being used by the indigenous haters and the Trudeau haters for political points.

The car they drove into a ditch was stolen, and after they shot the cop they carjacked another vehicle to try and get away

This is exactly what the left & right or red & blue parties want..... have the citizens who vote, get caught up in verbal diarrhea argument verbage and forget the tragic events like this or other tragic events like the disarray of our Frontline health care, long term care, mental health, homelessness, freedom Convoy crap, etc

Do you think that 'white' leaders need to condemn every killing by a white person. When it's the murder of a police officer, yes. And they always do.

(and I'm sure you can find plenty of statements from indigenous leaders doing exactly this)? I have no doubt of that.

Pathetic that this is just being used by the indigenous haters. Both King 21 and I were lamenting this.

I agree with the first part of your post, this guy should have been kept in jail.
As far as the last part of your statement, I disagree with taking his life, with or without a court judgement. I am against the death penalty, because it cheapens life, if the state can take it away. It is better if society is infused with the sanctity of life.

I disagree they killed a cop he'll never get out. There'll be too much pressure on the courts.
He's native, so there is some Supreme Court Act that says that native criminals get a huge break when it comes to sentencing.

Found it:

Gladue

Basically, if the perp is native, he gets off the hook for the most part.

This kid who murdered the police officer will be in a healing lodge in 3 years and back on the street in 4.

Double park your truck on Parliament Hill and excercise your right under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms with respect to protest and your right to self determination when it comes to your body.

That will get your ass tossed in jail and held without bail.
