I drive from east of Oshawa to Downtown TO everyday, and the stuff I see makes me laugh...I always consider the right lane my lane, because NOBODY seems to want to be caught dead in it. everyone drives in the middle lane, and everyone else who wants to go faster drives in the left lane, then gets all upset as seen in some of the above posts when someone pulls out and slows them up. Honestly...drive in the right lane...its almost always wide open, and you can easily average 120+ ALL THE TIME.

What really bugs me, and is my theory of why traffic in rush hour is so slow is people who can't merge in from an on ramp. Basically they rush right to the end of the on ramp past all the traffic then STOP at the end of the on ramp with their blinker on trying to merge from a complete stop. Obviously when they do finally get a chance to go, they make everyone else slow as they get up to speed, and you begin the braking cycle all the way back the highway. I ALWAYS leave a gap to let people merge at traffic speed when cars are approaching on an on ramp...9 times out of ten, drivers will not take the opening, and instead rush to the end of the on ramp...then stop. Well guess what...if you declined my pening I am not letting you in from a stop when I catch up to you...GRRRR drives me nuts!
