So here is something I cannot say I’ve had much experience with. I saw a tremendous looking lady a couple years back and recently reached out and got an email back from someone identifying themselves almost like their administrator responsible for availability and how the date could or may go. Complete with their name almost like well you sound cute, duo anyone?

Now I’m certain there have always been pimps or bookers and such in certain circles but this felt like contacting a new lawyer or real estate all agent. I suppose a good thing if they are that busy but made me reluctant in discussing what I hope to enjoy in the date and availability or desired outfit from her website not being worn because of increase likelihood of ghosting or cancellation.

I am aware of establishments like BH and CD where there may be one central texting line but it still often felt like Fanny had you communicating with each individual operator.

I was a reluctant to go ahead because it felt uncertain of establishing that chemistry in communication with a deposit that precedes to make an enjoyable encounter. Anyways hoping to get some of the always valuable insight from the TERB community especially @Theredmilf or @KittyCaterina who can always teach us punters a thing or two!

It would help to know which lady yes some do have administrative staff for example April Killian did have one not sure if ahe still does

I would say for most part independent ladies do it all themselves

I think that’s the interesting thing. The success operationally must be so good that they can warrant another person to handle the emails, texts, and even social media. They are on Tryst but didn’t think it relevant to say specifically who.

Indies having assistants isn't the norm, but it's not unusual either. For people who can afford it, I can imagine it'd be more than worth it to not have to handle all the admin work - between text, email, webforms, and social media DMs, I can only imagine the volume of incoming correspondence you're having to manage, not to mention all the back-and-forth some bookings involve. Based on conversations I've had with ladies, the DMs alone would be enough to drive me over the edge.

And the way you've described the interaction happening is, IMO, how it should go. It should be clear to you that you're not talking with the provider themselves.

Sound insight. I suppose it speaks to how well they are operating and sound financial sense. I guess the caveat I should add is the first time seeing her it was def her in communication. Definitely just created some hesitation and reservation but equally another opportunity to contact someone else from montreal who appears to tour often and is a hands on communicator

Some providers do hire booking agents, screening assistants, or admin help — and not every third party is a pimp.

Sex workers have been fighting for years for the basic right to hire legitimate support staff. Running this work completely solo is a lot. For some providers, having an assistant handle initial inquiries or scheduling is about reducing burnout, managing other responsibilities, or simply making the operation smoother. There are even pay-per-booking arrangements that keep it affordable and non-exploitative.

That said, I get why the “admin” vibe can feel a bit corporate and put you off. It’s harder to feel that spark or casually float an outfit preference when you’re not talking to the actual person you’ll be meeting. A lot of us (myself included) still prefer to handle communications ourselves for exactly that reason. It’s not necessarily a sign of success or lack thereof to hire an assistant. I prefer to use attitude-based screening, I like discussing boundaries directly, and a lot of my dates involve custom quoting that just works better one-on-one.

I’ve managed to build systems that keep it efficient enough that I can still do it myself, and since this is my focus most of the time, it works. But there’s no single “correct” way. Some providers thrive with help, some thrive without it. Different personalities, different energy levels, different lives.

The presence of an assistant doesn’t automatically mean the experience will be cold or impersonal — but it’s completely fair to feel more at ease when you’re dealing directly with the person you want to see.

With how prevalent chat bots with ai are becoming, I can see in the near future most using one to answer texts.
