Ontario Today, which airs at noon hour on CBC Radio 1, is promoting a call-in show on Tuesday (Feb. 28) with an SP:

I heard a bit of the promo for the show and it sounds like it's going to be a pretty open-minded program (much different from that W5 report that aired the other night).

If I can, I'll see if I can catch all or part of the program on Tuesday, and then deal with whatever fallout may come from having Blackrock13 discover I was caught listening to CBC.

So there is hope.

Actually the little I did pick up between meetings was very good, well balance and respectful. There should be more of these types of discussion between regular folk and keep the politicians out of the picture.

Things got a little crazy in Moviefan-land today, so I only caught the second half hour (I'll try to listen to the online version a bit later).

I thought the program was pretty balanced. When the Conservative MP tried to argue that every woman is forced into the sex trade, Rita Cielli challenged her on it.

I was thinking of our friend Sensual Jennifer when the Conservative politician cited the W5 program from the other night. I thought it was interesting that the politician kept referring to the woman in the W5 piece, who I guess is now supposed to be the representative for all SPs.

It was interesting to hear the one woman blaming the sex trade for the break up of her marriage. Sorry, but lawmakers don't have a responsibility to stop your husband from straying (even McGuinty hasn't gone that far).

pretty balanced except for the ravings of the Tory church lady MP........she refused to admit that many of the sp's do sex work by free choice and actually like it, and she couldn't believe that a boyfriend or bodyguard is not always a pimp. SO GET READY FOR THE HAMMER OF HARPER LAW.

it seems very divided. like any other moral issue (euthanasia, abortion, legalization of weed)....
When it comes to consensual adult sex behind closed doors, I don't think people should impose their morality on other people unless there is harm or small animals involved.
