I don't disagree with most of what you're saying but if this was truly an accident then that doesn't make him a "pedo" deserving to be outed. Nor should his life be ruined by kids sharing the video. I dont trust computer and cell cams so I have always covered the lens with electrical tape when I need to do the five knuckle shuffle but if not this could easily happen to me with how often I am tossing off.

They are right. After the police (and lawyers) have the evidence, there is no legitimate reason for the kids to keep it.

It's been over a year. haven't people figured out how to tell if their cam is on?

The school in question is a catholic secondary school and it was a grade 9 class that was being taught.

My first thought was I wondered if the catholic school system would follow the lead of their pope and simply transfer the teacher to another school.

Curious as to how the union will respond to this. That specific union is also currently running anti-Ford ads - Maybe they can work this into their campaign - "Ford's cutbacks have resulted in more on-line learning, and more opportunities for teachers to expose themselves to the students".

but he wasn’t in the classroom he was in his home. It’s a weak defense I grant you but this guy can’t ever return to that school, in fact he will likely never teach again unless he legally changes his name. He will always be THAT teacher otherwise.

I am a give the benefit of the doubt type and would hope he would not be that stupid to do in the physical school. I hope this was just because he was at hone.

Since COVID19 hit, there have been a lot of embarrassing actions caught on the camera because either the camera was thought to be off or the performer didn't realize the camera could catch all the action.

For me the question rolling in my mind is the guy was just talking to kids - what exactly was the motivation that spurred him to release himself ??? If I watch porno, a movie clip with Jessica Alba - the imagination could run a little wild - but talking to kids ?

It might have been an accidental camera shot but I am still a little concerned about this teacher.
