Ontario Lockdown, what are you doing?

Seems like this lockdown is the result of people not staying away from each other during the holiday season. The news are talking about hospitals and ICU filling up.

Looking at terb it seems that ads are still running and leolist is showing some safe options but mostly still a lot of ads from SPs.
Anyone curbing their enthusiasm or is it business as usual? Anyone afraid to bring Covid home from not socially distancing with their favourite SP?

Unless there is any enforcement, these (rules) have no teeth, and will be broken by many.
We will just need to wait and see what happens.

Yup...being older with an underlying condition (asthma) I am not going anywhere. As much as I am dying for a session I don't want to die because of a session!!

I’m staying in place too. I am young with no co-morbidities but this is as good of a time to save some of my hard earned cash and pay down some debts. Kind of sucks for the girls but I assume they can find another income stream like the rest of us.

I will be taking at least 28 days off, after the 28 days I will be reassessing based on numbers and possibly entertaining regulars or extended appointments.

At midnight last night a friend of mine's son closed the store he works at. While walking home he was stopped by LE and he didn't have documentation. He was given a $1 000 fine. Now he can fight this and will likely win, but they're not playing.

Other than online options I have been out of the game since March. Honestly, the longer this drags on and I see people acting like it's business as usual (both inside and outside this lifestyle) - it's a piss off.

With Ontario's stay-at-home order in effect, can police randomly stop you?

Ontario's stay-at-home order is now in effect for the province but the government said police don’t have the authority to randomly stop residents on the street to make sure their trip is essential.

Main question is, doing what gets you penalized/in trouble.
The article kept saying this is ok, that is not a problem but violating the stay-at-home order you could face a fine.

My guess is, if you are healthy and happy (not in mental/isolation distress) and have enough food and essentials, you are to stay home.

Winter and the lockdown are making me really horny My big and little head are debating what to do. So far the big head is winning but it's a struggle lol. Damn you Covid, just go away already ffs.

I think I'm going to control myself as long as I can and even if I slip and partake I won't be posting it here. Don't want to encourage anyone as everyone's situation is different. If you can avoid during the lockdown and until the numbers come down then Kudos to you. Thank you for your sacrifice

I don't understand the logic for the 28 days lockdown. If it was 14-15 days with strict enforcement and only extended every week after that based on numbers then it would have been easier for people to follow. 28 days feels like a long effing time and I'm not sure people will follow it. Everyone is already tired of social distancing and staying home. Lets hope this lockdown works and the numbers drastically drop and stay down. We need the numbers to drop down before it's too late.

If you're partaking then please try to keep 2 weeks in between different providers to protect everyone.

My heart goes out to all the SPs/MAs who are struggling financially because of the pandemic and those who are risking their health more than clients by working during these crazy times. Please be nice to them and tip well if you can. Stay safe everyone.

Yes it's bad...
I was hoping that everything was going to be back to normal soon but it doesn't look like it will be normal in the near future.
In the meantime , I am getting tested , I am only seeing my regulars and I am limiting the amount of clients I see in order to avoid unwanted attention.
I keep taking my client's temperature upon arrival and it didn't really change anything regarding cleaning and sanitizing since the new protocol is what I have always done between my sessions anyways. ( I got a cleaning Ocd )..
During the first lockdown from March 15th to June 2nd I decided to close my business. The lockdown during Xmass I took time off , but made an exception for a couple of clients.
For this lockdown I am taking a limited amount of regulars.
If I close my business every time they lockdown the city , I better simply retired. I mean a girl needs to work eventually.

I think taking temp is a joke. This Virus is a sleeper . If I feel hot or ill Im not visiting thats respect.

Elevated temperature has already been proven to be useless. Covid testing is only good if you’re self isolating while awaiting results, and even if the result is negative, it’s only good for that particular day. If you continue to see people outside of your bubble in a closed space without a mask, you’re a potential spreader.
