I am guessing that one of the problems with making $$$$ on OF is the vast # of girls who are always opening up accounts. The consumer literally gets overwhelmed with choice. Plus, the novelty factor has now worn off.
I follow some IG / Twitter accounts which are bait accounts for the girls' OF accounts and it's clear that the girls are managed by an agency. There are continual lavish photoshoots and "events" where the girls interact socially and sexually. (On IG and Twitter, little is shown of the latter, of course). No it's not absurf because;
1) content is gated behind the subscription so no one really knows whats going to be there without subscribing to it at first.
2) while Porn might be OF's biggest marketshare it's not the only one. It's also used as a means to get custom content and more "personal" interactions with fans through livestreams and DMs
3) She made that money in 1 year, and from the receipts she posted, only 17 million was from subscriptions that means at $24 a month she only needed about 65000 subs for the whole year to make that portion.
The Lions share of the 52 mil was from tips and more predominantly private messages which is the "personal" interaction and custom content portion I mentioned earlier which she charged fees for.
And again she is an anomaly due to her being famous, Bella Thorne did the same shit at some point before this girl and got 1 millions in a day.
The average person won't make anywhere near this level because they will not get that sub count or be able to demand that level of fees for DMs
If you look up the stats for the non anomalous entities the top earner, Riley Reid (which could still technically be construed as an anomaly) made about $500,000 total since their last promo, in contrast the 10th highest made $100,000 again since their last promo.
Also Twatter and Instantcrap have different demographics and host different types of content, you can't really go "But she only has X fans on Twatter" and expect it to be a valid argument of any sort.

I only signed up on OF once then deleted the account same day as I didn't care for it nor into paying for pics/vids. It was for a free subscription (some ladies offer this as to get more clients) and I don't recall if only $0.01 or nothing was was charged to my credit card but they did take my credit card info. Google search says they accept prepaid cards so that's probably the best option if you wanna remain discreet.
