Online Poker anyone?

I discovered online poker over the weekend and spent 40 hours playing Texas Holdem with what I think were college students from around the world. It is cheaper than SP's.
I played on Pokerroom.com. Does anybody have any advice on where and how to play?

Pretty good set up, lots of tables, lots of people. Fake money or real.

Party Poker.com has too many players IMHO, especially if you're not playing for real money.
I have logged on and every single table has had 8 or 9 players WAITING.

WWW.poker.com is a little less populated.....basically exact same set-up as partypoker.

So who wants to play???

partypoker is the largest site with lots of action, that is, chasers. If you're a rock, it could get alittle frustrating. I prefer paradise, not as many tables but you get a nice mix of rocks, cannons, chasers and calling stations.

yes it is! but 9 out of 10 players I am at a table with are from the states lol. Maybe if we re-name Texas hold'em to Ontario hold'em more Canadians would sign up haha.

I like Party Poker. You can go in tournaments for as low as $6 and still win $30. Or, you can play for fun. I'm sure that there are other great sites out there though......

Spyware?

Are these safe downloads? Any spyware? or keyloggers? has anybody run a spybot clean-up after a download and found anything? or has anybody even tried?

I'd like to play, but I just got my computer all cleaned up...

Oddly enough I discovered pacificpoker.com on Sunday and have logged about 20 hours since then playing.

I was in Vegas for Thanksgiving weekend and Texas Hold Em is by far the most popular game in every casino.

So far so good online, maybe I will quit my job and play online poker full time!

there's too much money in the online poker to worry about revenue from spyware. Generally they're 100% clean.

Partypoker.com is pretty good.
